“Some of this and some of that,” Niki answered awkwardly, while thinking about how she’d accidentally come across a letter Endrődi’s wife had written to a girlfriend. She wasn’t too big on prying into other people’s mail, but the e–mail popped up in a message box the woman hadn’t signed out from. She wasn’t proud of herself, and since then, it seems she couldn’t help manically intruding into other people’s private documents. Her most recent crime was smuggling out and reading the Bagger Book… “How are the two of you doing? Did you manage to get back into the swing of things at home?”
“It wasn’t easy,” the surgeon smiled, then added, “but we’ll soon have a new addition to the family, so this might be the last long vacation we have for a while.”
