From that day on, I kept running into Julian in the most random places, day after day. He'd launched into a relentless campaign to win me back, following me around and pestering me at every turn. This was the same man who had once carried himself like he was above everyone else, who'd treated my love as something he was naturally entitled to. Now, he'd thrown every last shred of pride and dignity out the window. He'd memorized my entire routine down to the minute.
