  Lucian's POV   The door slammed so hard behind her it nearly took off the back of my head.   The sound cracked through the hallway like a starter pistol, perfectly timed with the wildfire that had just been burning in Allison's eyes.   Across from me, Bellingham scratched the back of his neck, wearing an expression like he'd just been handed front-row tickets to a drama he couldn't wait to watch.   “You've got a real gift,” he said lightly. “Pushing her buttons like that.”   I didn't bother pretending anymore.   The second Allison was out of sight, any trace of civility dropped like a mask hitting the floor.   “She only fights with people she cares about,” I said, voice cool. “Everyone else gets the charming, polished version. The one built for small talk and birthday cards.”   T
