Lucian's POV
My fingers gripped the phone tightly as a surge of restlessness washed over me. Heidi's voice came through from the other end, weak and trembling.
"Lucian... I need you. I'm feeling... not so good."
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. "I'm on my way, Heidi. Give me fifteen minutes."
After hanging up, I stood in the hallway, my mind conflicted. Should I check on Alison first? But Heidi sounded really bad, and the doctors had warned her condition could deteriorate rapidly...
"Get back to your Luna," Fenrir growled within me, his voice accusatory. "She needs us. She was just attacked!"
