--- MRS. EMMA’S COMPOUND – NIGHT* Carmella stepped out of their house into the moonlit compound where *Mrs. Emma* and *Grannie Nile* were waiting. The air around them felt charged with ancient energy. “Are you all set?” Mrs. Emma asked, her eyes scanning Carmella. “Yes,” Carmella replied with quiet confidence. Grannie Nile approached her. “Now, kid. You’re gonna wear the vision necklace and spread your hands. Make sure you concentrate.” Carmella nodded and slipped the necklace around her neck. As soon as it touched her skin, it glowed a deep, menacing red. She raised her arms slowly, and her feet lifted off the ground as she began to levitate, energy pulsing around her. Grannie Nile’s eyes widened in awe. “Oh my! This kid is more powerful than any other witch in this town.” “Told ya,” Mrs. Emma said with a proud smirk. Grannie Nile muttered, “Her power reminds me of an old friend… She was as strong as this kid, but she’s long dead now. Since then, I haven’t seen anyone with her kind of power—until now.” “Really?” Mrs. Emma raised a brow. Grannie Nile nodded. “Yeah. I thought you knew her?” “I do… but I don’t remember her face anymore,” Mrs. Emma admitted. “Ahh! Young people,” Grannie scoffed. “Not my fault!” Emma shot back. Grannie refocused. “Kid! I want you to stretch your hands now—and fire up!” Carmella thrust her hands forward. A violent swirl of energy surged, cracking the air. The *Witchworld Portal*a place filled with witches and warlocks living in peace** began to open—just slightly, but enough to radiate its mysterious light. “Now, kid!” Grannie shouted. “You need to put all your concentration into completely opening the portal!” --- CARMELLA’S HOUSE – MUM’S BEDROOM – SAME TIME* Ann stood by the bed, handing Maya a small cup of syrupy medicine. Maya winced slightly as she swallowed it. “Okay, that should do it, alright?” Ann said softly. “Okay,” Maya replied. “Now let’s go check on your sister.” Maya hesitated. “Uh… I think my nose is still running, Mum.” Ann gave her a look. “I’ll deal with that after I call your sister. Let’s go.” “Okay,” Maya replied with fake enthusiasm. --- HALLWAY – CONTINUOUS* As Ann and Maya moved toward *Carmella’s room*, Mason, watching from the living room, tensed. Carmella is supposed to be back by now,” he muttered. Without warning, Mason hurled himself down the stairs dramatically. He landed with a loud thud. : “Mason!” Ann shrieked as she, Maya, Fred, and Mr. Andre rushed over. Fred dropped his drink. “Oh my gosh—are you okay?!” Mason groaned. “No!!” “Let’s get him to the couch!” Mr. Andre said quickly. Fred lifted him, carrying him to the living room couch. “Are you okay?” Fred asked, concerned. “My head… I need a head massage, Mum…” Mason groaned, clutching his forehead. “Alright, sweetie,” Ann said, kneeling beside him and gently massaging his head. “maya Get him some ice!” Fred instructed. “Okay!” Maya jumped up and rushed to the fridge. ---
