I watched the guards drag Lucian’s limp body away. “This way Ms. Summons.” the man said as he started to lead the way into the territory. The quiet 20 minute walk was refreshing, my lungs and legs grateful to be free and stretched. He led me to a three story house; well, a mansion. It was a beautiful three-story building with red bricks, marble columns and a giant stairway.
We walked up the steps, then entered the house. I followed the man down a hallway then down a flight of stairs; it looked like we were going into the basement. We stopped at an empty room where he held the door open and gestured for me to go in. The room was small and furnished with a coffee table and a few chairs. “The Alphas will be here shortly.” the man said. I nodded and he closed the door.
