Helena in rampage was not caring at all she did not look at Lyculn with mercy until he begged for his life before she freed him. She even choked him for a while before she left him alone, Lyculn knew he was the one that caused what happened to him, he knowingly hit her hand because he wanted to provoke her. After she narrated the dream she had to him, he knew that her magical power was very close to manifesting, he just wanted to force it out because no matter the time it manifests, she won't be able to control it. The interpretation of the dream she had that her glowing self defeated her was that she would not be able to control her magic from the first time it manifests, it would take hard work, focus, and consistency for her to be able to control it again.
