A few days passed since Lyculn and little Helena arrived at Shelrun's house, he did not have any discussion with Lyculn, and Lyculn also never tried to build up a discussion with him because he saw him as a busy and hard-working man. Shelrun is among the major distributors of farm produce to traders at the market square so he was always busy with work rather than discussing with his visitor. Lyculn would have loved to follow Shelrun to distribute his farm produce every morning but since he did not ask him or attempt to involve him with his business, Lyculn never thought of it. Lyculn also had something he was doing that Shelrun did not like but chose to say nothing about, when it comes to anything baby Helena, Lyculn was secretive, he was not willing to open up to Shelrun. Three weeks after Shelrun took in Lyculn and baby Helena, it was the no market day, Invaquam Province dedicated this day to the lives that were lost while trying to form the province. No one is allowed to sell anything at the market or go to the market square if not they would be arrested. Shelrun saw this as a great opportunity to know more about who he had accommodated for the past few weeks. Shelrun was not interested in paying homage to the lost souls who fought for freedom because he felt it has lost value over the years. His last experience of this day was what made him tell himself that he would not be involved in it again. The venue of paying homage to the lost heroes was turned to somewhere very unsecured and dangerous, despite the guards put in place to assure the safety of the people, robbers were active at working stealing from whoever comes there with something valuable, they were working in hands with the securities that were the annoying thing. Shelrun seated Lyculn for the first time since his arrival to have a discussion with him, he has the whole day free so he does not mind how long their conversation would take. "I am sorry for the way I treated you and the baby since your arrival, I have been seriously busy in recent weeks," Shelrun said. "Oh, no need for that, I understand the lifestyle of a farmer especially the ones that distribute to different traders, my father was also a farmer" Lyculn responded. "Wow, that's nice meaning you must know many things about farming also, I will be opened to learning from you, how you do things where you are from, well we will have to postpone that for later, I need to know you first," Shelrun said. "Okay, what is it that you want to know about me, I think we should leave this till night because you must have a lot of work to do now" Lyculn replied. "Oh, I forgot to tell you, I am free for today, the market is shut down for today because today has been dedicated to the lost souls and past heroes of this province who made it possible for this province to emerge as the four-part of Melum kingdom," Shelrun said. "So those people who have been passing are heading to the venue of the memorial?" Lyculn asked. "Yes, they are heading there, it is not far away from here" Shelrun replied. "Then why did you not join them? Why are you not going to the memorial like others?" Lyculn asked. "I don't want to be there, my last experience was disappointing and I promise myself that I would never attend again" Shelrun replied. "Back to where we stopped, I want to know you, I will let you know how I knew you were the right person I was looking for weeks ago" he added. "Well, I am Lyculn, I was appointed as the head visioneer of Culum Kingdom and I served the province for many years but currently I have a greater task to attend to, I left because it is my destiny, the King and the people of the Kingdom must have been worried about my whereabouts but I'm sure they will learn to move on without me, by now they would have anointed another visioneer to fill the space I created," Lyculn said. "Hmmm, what is so important that serving your province? What is the task you have that you call great?" Shelrun asked. "I don't think I can trust you yet, I know nothing about you" Lyculn replied. "I am a farmer, a major distributor of farm produce in this province, I was born to a visioneer, I also do see visions and hear from the gods that are how I got to find you, I understand why you are doing this, I am not an associate of your brother, I was assigned to protect you for now," Shelrun said. "Okay, so we both are visioneers, no wonder we could live without a discussion like this for many weeks, if your father was a visioneer of this land then why were you not anointed as the head visioneer of this province?" Lyculn said. "Well, I think it was my choice not to become the head visioneer of this province, a forfeited it because of my desire to become a farmer, my brother is the head visioneer of this province, he has been avoiding me since he took the role," Shelrun said. "Now I think you should be able to tell me the great task you are attending to" he added. "I don't think so, if the gods did not tell you then you are not meant to know, go in trance and ask about it, prove to me that you are truly a visioneer," Lyculn said. "I have heard about trance but I don't know how to use it, I think that is where we will start from, you teach me how to communicate with the gods through trance" Shelrun replied. "Sure, I will only if you are willing to learn," Lyculn said. Lyculn then told Shelrun to close everywhere where noise used to enter the house. After he was done, he showed him a sitting posture and told him to do as he did. After he got what Lyculn told him, he began to lecture him. "Close your eyes, You must find your inner self, stop thinking about anything, meditate, find peace within yourself, and breath slowly, once you find your inner self, you link your mind with your spirit, you will find yourself somewhere other than here," Lyculn said slowly. He was talking like he was just learning to talk, he was doing this so his words won't distract Shelrun from finding his inner man. Shelrun tried all that Lyculn told him to do but it seem to not be working, he was not planning on giving up so he kept the same position he was and kept on trying and trying. After a while, Lyculn thought Shelrun had successfully gone into a trance, he went close to him to test him, Immediately Lyculn touched him, he fell aside, he had fallen asleep instead of going in a trance. Lyculn helped him to his room and placed him on his bed to enjoy his sleep. Lyculn then went to pay attention to baby Helena, he ignored her throughout when he was having a discussion with Shelrun. Baby Helena was hungry, he noticed that she was sucking her hand, opening and closing her mouth like she was eating something from her hands. Lyculn reached out to the fresh goat milk Shelrun brought from his farm. He fed her till she began to try to push the milk away with her little hands. Some minutes after eating, baby Helena fell asleep. Some hours later, Shelrun woke up, he was shocked to meet himself on his bed, he quickly got up and went to the parlor. "Welcome back Shelrun, you fell fast asleep while trying to go in a trance, you made great progress on your first trial," Lyculn said. "I did not know when I slept off, you carried me to my room, thanks for that" Shelrun said. "What do you mean by I made progress, I slept off, I failed" he added. "You did not fail you are on track, but next time you just try not to sleep, you might get what you want if you don't sleep," Lyculn said. "Should I try it once more, I hope I get it this time" Shelrun said. Shelrun began to try all Lyculn told him all over again, this time he is planning to avoid sleeping instead he was to find himself somewhere else other than his house where he is. This time Lyculn did not need to talk at all, Shelrun already knew what to do. Minutes from when Shelrun started the process of going in a trance, Lyculn saw no improvement so he decided to leave him and watch how baby Helena is sleeping peacefully. Meanwhile, Shelrun kept more hard work to it this time, he had made up his mind to get it now or never. He followed and did all Lyculn told him to do one after the other. Minutes later, Lyculn who was lost looking at the way baby Helena was sleeping regained himself, he decided to look towards where Shelrun was sitting, to his greatest surprise, he saw that Shelrun had begun to float, he was no longer on the floor. The space between Shelrun and the floor was not that much, you could barely know if he was sitting on the floor or floating. Lyculn immediately knew that he was already in trance because he had read books written by Lycurgos and he has also seen his father's brother in trance prior to now.
