A Long Day on the Metro

As Vic thought about what to do regarding his memories, he recalled how great it felt when there was danger involved. When the cop was chasing the guy over the fence, when he had to jump from ten feet up, and especially when the cop shot at him. Vic thought he could feel the ache in his legs for two days afterward. Only logic and common sense made him realize that he couldn't really feel the pain. He might recognize what the pain felt like at the time of viewing, but afterward the pain would be gone; he'd feel nothing.
Now, all he had to do was come up with something to make people feel the same way, or better.
