Vic took a bathroom break while Sahrina alerted Langley and Dennis that he was ready to talk. Fifteen minutes later, they walked in.
They sat at the table opposite Vic, yellow-ruled notepads in front of them. "Let's start off with the first question we asked," Langley said. "What were you doing at the mall that night?"
"Looking for girls—or should I say young ladies—to talk to." Vic turned toward Sahrina and smiled. She smiled back.
"And what were you planning on talking about?" Langley asked.
"Nothing. Just talk. Maybe ask if they wanted to go out some night or just hang out, you know, just chill."
"When did you first see Ms. Piersol that night?"
"Look, maybe we can save a lot of time if I just jump to the meat of the story."
