Chaptee 23 - Finding Diane

Chapter 23

Louie quickly went home with Diane's files in his hands.

"Finally, now i can now see you again."

Quickly go to his room.

He opened the file with a curious face and excitement.

He finds out where is her house, the name of her parents and everthying else.

"Synthia Moore and Gordon Moore is the name of her parents eh? I think i have heard that surnames before, even before i met Serenia, anyway, so it is the name of my future Mother and father in law."

Her house…. is… is…. number twenty three, Gold street, Vista Valley. I think i heard that before…. i know it's near in my old house…

Louie opened his desktop to find her adress.

"Let's see, V-i-s-t-a V-a-l-l-e-y, there, woahh is just thirty minutes away, i thought her house is further, it won't be hassle going to her."

While he is looking for it, his cellphone ring, an unknown number is calling.

"Ughmm, hello? Who is this?"

He answered the phone, and someone greet Louie loud,

"Yoooo Arthur!! How was the conquest?"

"Wahhhhhh?! What do you mean?! And who are you?!"

"Sigh* i helped you, after that you just forget me, how disappointing."

"tsk. I am Hann"

it was Hann.

"I am sorry hehehe, but how did you know my number, huh? Not anyone knows my number."

"Huh, i paid someone to determined your number ahihihihi."

"What?!! Why would you do that? You could just ask it to me! You creeps me out!"

"Come on, let's forget about that, how was the operation, did you get what you need in there?

"Yeahh about that-"

Louie tell him everything and his what he will about to do.

"I need to track a girl, and the way to track it, i need to get her information, in the student records, and it was successful i did see where she is living, and thanks to you, i was able to get it, you really help a lot."

"I plan to go in her place now, cause i am really tired of waiting."

"That's great, hehehe, can i come along, i love to see where is this going, a conquest for love, eh?"

"Yeah sure, meet me, at the downtown mall, i'll give you one hour, if you are late i won't wait for you."

"Sure! I'll be there before you arrive."

Louie took a bath, chanhed his clothes,

"I hope i am not late, please."

went out drove his car and went to rendezvous.

"Woahhhh, you really did do your promise, come on, hop on."

"Nice car you have here, Arthur."

"Yeahh, it was a gift from my.... uncle, your car's too, it sounds a million dollar."

"Then how about it, shall we race sometime, Arthur, it will be cool."

"Yeah HAHAHAHA, yeah i guess, by the way, Hann, my name is not really Arthur, it's just an alias, my real name is Louie, you know, when some of us get transport in another, we changed, and need new identity."

"Then nice to meet you Louie, HAHAHAHA"

"Hey, Hann did you not change your name......."

And so Louie and Hann continue chatting like they knew each other for a very long time, while driving their way to Diane's house.

Then they went to the adress where Diane is said to be living.

They saw a bunch of modern house, everyone who lives in there are rich.

"Woahhh, the houses here are so big and beautiful, it so minimal."

"Base on Booble map, Diane's house should be around here."

When they arrived to their destination

"I think this is it, Hann, keep the engine on, i am going out."

"The map says i have arrived."

Louie and Hann gazed upon Diane's House, they were amazed of it

Among houses, Diane's house is the biggest and tallest and widest.

"Wow, man your girl is a big catch, not only she's beautiful and sexy, sje's filthy roch among rich, hihihihi."

Hann had a hunch

"Speaking of her house, she might be a Summoned one. Just kidding."

Louie rang the door bell a few times

"Come on, come on, someone answer, surprising, the lights are all closed."

No one is answering Louie

the house is close it seems no one is living in there

"What?! Why is no one answering, and all the lights are close? Is no one in there. Huhuhuhu why?!"

Louie decided to infiltrate the house hoping he might find something in there

"Hann, wait here, i think no one is home, but i will check the inside, there might be a clue for Diane."

"Wait are you sure, people might see you and might mistook you for a thief."

"Yeah, i don't care, i am tired of not seeing Diane."

"Ok, then go, just hurry up, i don't want to get in trouble."

"Relax, i can do it, i am just not a hero in name. Even i am back in this world, so don't worry."

Unfortunately there is nothing to see there. The house was empty, it seemed she move out.

"s**t, there is nothing to see here, why did you do this Diane?! Where are you? Are you still there in that world. Come on please just give me a sign, there has to be a thing you left."

"So there is none."

Louie sneak back to the car

"How was the conquest for Love ma friend?"

"There is nothing left there, it seems it was already sold to another."

"Let's just head back for now. Sigh i thought i could finally see her."

"hey why don't we stoo by there, let's have a dinner, i am so hungry now, just waiting for you made me hungry."

Louie felt hopeless, they ate at a restaurant 

"All right."

He treats Hann for helping him back there

"Hey, Hann, just sit, it will be my treat, i forgot you just help me, and went with me. Thank you for that, it's payback time."

"Really?! Hehehehe, thank you for the treat, then."

While they are eating Hann cheered Louie up

"Woahhh, this chicken is tasty!"

"Yeah."

Louie seems so down, and doesn't have a mood for eating.

"Come on, cheer up man, may be it won't be today ir tomorrow, but i am sure you will meet her.

Hann face were curious and ask about their story

"How about you, tell me your whole story, just pick where do you wanna start. I am itching to know it."

"Come on tell me man."

Louie tell him the story of him and Diane bit by bit, on how they met, what they have been doing together, and how did they got seperated.

"I was a wimpy, small, and mad at this world back then, like everything seems unfair, because of that madness i even chase away people who cares for me, but one day, i had a second chance, Serenia becomes a transferee to my class, and there i saw her, i was stunned by her great appearrance, every angle is perfect, she's gentle too, i thought that's the end of it, but i meet her again in an arcade, playing a console, there, i knew she had hobby of playing video games, because of video games, she ask me to help her beat a game, we got close, we often hang out after school, the last day was special, but that's so tragic too, we hold hands while walking, we knew we have feelings for each other, but a stalker of her surprise us from behind, i tried buy her time to escape i am afraid she will be assaulted, but i got stabbed and got resurrected in another world instead."

"It was so perfect back then, only me and her, that was enough for me."

And the story on how he came back

"I had travel through Maharlika, i ket tons of people, there this girl named Serenia, she was a ghost but suddenly she turned back to human, she is alone, so i let her come with me, she's my second real friend beside Diane, she was cheerful beautiful and hot too, hehehe, she is annoying but that's what i loved about her, we went to a city resembles Japan, we........ and that's what happened, ohhh i forgot Master Ran, our time was few, when i spawn in the Maharlika, i end up in a village there i met Master Ran taught me the basics, he is a former structor of new summoned heroes, do you know him? No? Okay, we fought a Campion de....... and that's it, and there's Old Yaga and Lu, Lu is a Sacred Beasts in that land, he is a Sarimanok, when i was waiting, i took care of him, i trained him to get his revenge, i wonder, if he already got his revenge now, he is always......, and lastly Old Yaga, she is one of the Mangkukulam and also the guardian of the forests also the one's responsible for me getting back in this world. She's killing people then..... for the sake of the Forests and it's residence."

Hann was touched to their story and amazed to his adventure.

"Woahhhhhh, that story was amazing, i really wished i met you, we could explore the whole Maharlika."

"Yeah that would be nice."

"Don't you think, Diane got transported to that world, too, but you didn't see her there, right? And it said impossible for two or more poeple got chosen in one place."

"Y-yeah, that's what i've been thinking about too."

"Wait, why did you went back to this world?"

"About that, it's because of the thing inside me, i don't want to hurt anyone, because i wasn't able to control it. It really helped me a lot and do things in my favor, but i still not sure that maybe it betray me, and caught me off guard."

"That's all, but speaking of going back, how did you comeback? Hann. You are a Hero too right?."

Louie got curious too, in story of Hann in Maharlika

"Ahhh, about me? It is not so interesting, i was summoned, and did the training like the others, ughmmm i was chosen to hold a Kampilan, but i refuse, i rather use a martial arts, i did all my task, i explore the world, ughmmm, i wish i could go back and one day my wish was granted, my amulet started getting bright and before i know it i aas back where i standing where i got summoned, i was happy, i quickly went to my mom but she didn't recognize me, she was shocked at first that i am big and strong now. You see were the same, i got bullied too for being small and pathetic that's what i have been wanting to say, to you in the beginning, we are the same that's why i want to be your friend, anywau that was over now, just like you i brought gold bars, equipments, jewelries, i ask for help to sell it, until my grand uncle heard about it, he seems interested in it, he bought it quickly, i become rich and bought what i need. That's all.

Hann story is a bit off in what's happening in Maharlika

"Your story is a bit off, like your story is so not directed, i feel every heroes story is the same, can you be more specific?"

"Okay? You don't wanna talk."

Louie asked him to be his friend

"Oh i forgot to answer you, i am sorry for late reply, Hehehehe we can be friends and it is my pleasure."

Louie and Hann continue on chatting until they finished their foods

Louie drove him to his house

"So this is your village, glad to know."

Hann's is not big but has a  spacious manor. His house is a bit different, and not so modernize.

"Woaahhhh, i had a different guess about your house, but my guess were so far from it."

"It's amazing to see such a kind of house, it is like your are in Dynasty period or something, hehehehe, anyway i will be taking my lead, Hann, goodbye, smell you later."

"Goodbye, Louie."

Louie headed home

"Should i go back? No, let's check things for a while."

Carias jumped on him, as Louie enetered the place

"Woaahhhhh, you startled me! What's with your outfit, old man?"

"Huh? You don't know?"

Carias opened the lights

"It's because of this..... taraaan!"

The money from auction have arrived

Dollar bill were all scattered all over the living room

"Oohhhhh, what i drag, this house will be on mess, if i am not here, Hehehehe."

"Aren't you happy, Louie, you have 11.2 million dollars in your hands."

"Yeahh i am really happy, uncle Carias, but do you know who's more happy? You, you must be happy i am paying you all of my debts, huh?."

Food and drinks are served in the table

"HAHAHAHAHA, you really know me, anyway, let's eat, the food is getting cold."

Louie whispered to himself

"Oh s**t, Louie you shouldn't eat in the downtown, now don't let the mood go away, endure it, endure eating!"

They celebrated

Carias had a buisness talk with Louie

"So, Louie why don't we have a buisness talk? What would you do with many money? Put in the bank? Give it as a charity? Use it to show off? Traveluse? Of course not, don't make me throw off, instead invest it to your Uncle Carias and it surely will double and double overtime, what do you say?"

"Pfffttt!! What was that Carias!! HAHAHHAHA you sounds like a man from tv salestalking, commercing useless things, BWAHAHAHAHA."

"but don't worry, that will be my plan, but i some of my money, will be delivered to my parents, because even though they don't know me anymore, i will still help them from shadow."

Louie agreed to have a buisness with him in one condition, and that is to help his parents

"I agree, that is so touching, why don't you be my son? Louie?"

"HEHEHEHEHE, i will be going to my room now."

after a while Louie went for bed

And he is thinking on how to get leads to Diane

He is having multiple thought wether Diane is here or not.

"What should i do now, i guess i will check again that house again, tomorrow."

On the following day.

He went back to Diane's house there he saw a man, an agent of banks.

"Excuse me, do you know where are the  owner of this house?"

Louie talk with him

"Ughm, Hello? Didn't you hear me?"

But the agent refuses to talk with Louie

Louie had no choice but to attract his attention

"Here's my card, i could easily use my conmection, to fire you."

He shown a card, proving he is with Carias

The Agent got frighten and answer his question.

Louie asked for Diane

"Sir, i am asking where is the owner of this house, you've been here for hours, i guess you know where the owner might be?"

"I am sorry to say, but the owner of the house is missing for months, the one who currently owns the house is her parents."

"May i go now please, s-sir?"

"Yes."

Diane's was missing for months. The day they got separated too.

"I think, i can say now she is, still there."

He went to the police station and trace the event where he got stabbed.

"Sir i'd like to request a footage from, november, 13, 2016, 9:10 at Malanday district."

Louie shown his card, and got a special treat.

He tracked Diane's movement, when Louie got stabbed that day, Serenia wasn't able to be track to, every corner of where she can go, has no footage. 

"Come on, Diane, Show yourself, why are you not showing yourself......"

As well as the killer, after Louie got stabbed, he is nowhere to be found

"Sir, the three of the people a while ago, who entered that street, didn't appeared after 9:11 pm, we tracked them but no footage shows their resemblance, when people got there only a kid stabbed was found dead in there not the other two."

"Yeah, that's what i want to find out, too."

When he finally able to tracked it, the cctv footages didn't spot anyone resembles Diane, even the one who stabbed him.

"So that's it, she stills there, along with that killer, oh my she could be in danger."

"I need to go back, then."

He concluded the three of them got transported at the same time.

He decided to go back in Maharlika and pursue Diane.

"I shall go back, but how i am gonna get back, and if i get back, what if this thing inside me, suddenly activate and eat me away."

"What should i do?"

"Maybe, i must, save her first, and deal with this thing later."

"If you don't to regret it."
