Chapter 20 - Carias Richè

The sun is peeking in the horizon

"Aghhhhh, that feels good. I woke up early."

Louie is already awake and he woke up on his own.

Prepare things for his school later

"Oh the principal said, he should prepare things for me, i guess i don't have to do anything."

"I'll just take a bath, shiii i am excited."

Had a breakfast, brush his teeth, took a shower.

"Carias i am heading out early, see you later."

Took his McLaren P1

"Holy shrimp!! The sound of it is like a rhythm in my ears."

He arrived at Edelena

"First day to my old school, with this body, huh? I wonder what would they reaction be, if they see me with this Car."

He was stared by many people

"Ohhhh, i know that i am shiny now, but i still can't bear people looking at me, whuuuuuu."

Louie had butterflies

He gone inside school and talk to the principal to give Carias' regards.

"Mr. Cornant, this letter is from uncle Carias, thank you for having me. I will head now to the classroom."

Louie headed to his respectable room

The teacher there introduces him to his classmates, that is his old classmates too, he looked every face of his classmates, only his bullies and the rest is there, there is no sign of Serenia in there. Nor the girl she used to chase away. There are 3 vacant chair in there which belongs to the three of them.

"Goodmorning everyone my name is Arthur Richè, i am pleased fo meet you. I hope we all can get along."

After their subjects, he had lunch by himself, everyone is still staring at him.

"Haha, that's right, don't come near me."

"But i really need to practice on getting used at being stared."

Their eyes is shining when looking at Louie

He asked his classmates what happened to Diane.

"Hello, i just need to ask you some questions, i have a friend who recently moved in here and attends to this school, her name is Diane, did anyone knows where she might be ? Why is she not in here?"

At first he asked people  there, he met many people.

While looking for someone he saw someone always looking at him with ominous aura at distance.

"Huh? Who is that? Why is he looking at me?"

But he did not give attention  to it, and proceed on getting infos to Diane's whereabout. And what happened to her.

in the end, all people's say she didn't go to school one day and Louie too, but Louie was found dead, but about her she went missing.

Louie wants to agree in her being "Isekai"

"s**t, she might be in the Maharlika, but no it won't be possible, it so odd to be chosen by the god at the same time."

But he wants to check for more, like her home.

"I need to investigste more, i need to check her, where does she leave, again? When we are dating, we only seperate at the bus stop, i saw her getting on a bus going in concepcion, so somewhere there is her home."

"But let's go hom for tonight

He just call it a day

And went back home.

it's weekend, it is a free day for Louie.

He stayed at home, cleaned the house.

"Is it just me, or this house always getting dirty? I better clean it. It so dissappointing to have a house like this, but messy snd smelly."

after cleaning the house, he saw Carias getting wasted in the middle of the day.

"Hey, what's with drinking Liquor in the middle of the day?!"

Louie asked him what's goin'. He's been curious since before.

"Oh whatever, it's your life."

Louie offered him a drink of glass water and help him sit in a chair

Carias refuses to talk at first but Louie stayed and eventually he talked

It' about him being a worthless person

"I am the shitiest person, do you know that, Louie?"

"I am alone right now and pathetic, but i once has a family, but because of my dreams...."

He is rich have a one son, a little younger than Louie, and and an infant daughter, of course he has a spouse, a young beauty. Everything was fine but i became greedy and did not stop to pursue my dream.

"It all started when i was a young, i see my family can't eat three meals everyday. I had a dream to be a successful, so i can get my parents out of poverty, i became a scientist since it's my hobby when i was a kid, collecting stones or everything i find in the sorroundings. As i said i become successful, but greedy too, my dreams didn't stop there, it grew too, as i climb heights...

When he was young, his family is poor, he likes picking and collecting stones when he was a kid, that eventually led him to be geologists and as a geologists he knew many places with mineral deposit. And gave him opportunity to save money and make his own buisnesses. He was so focussed in it even there are managers in his buisnesses he always checks on them.

"This might be fate, because of that, i meet you Louie, my savior."

"One day, a problem ain my buisness appeared, i couldn't do anything with it..."

Back to the story, i was so focussed, one day there is a problem in one of my buisness i couldn't solve it, it led to another many problems, i even had fight with my spouse, so i drown myself beer.

"I neglected my reposibility as a father, but another came....."

One day my son, even though i am a busy man, he understands me, and we have our quality time too, but one night when i went to visit his room he was not there, he is not like that, he is open to us, my wife accused me for this, but she is right, i tried to find him with everything i got, i focussed on him instead of the conflict in my buisnesses, but in the end it was all for nothing, the one's i hired was not able to track him, even the police, and some of my buisness go bankrupt, my wife left me together with our child, she go back to her parents.

I lost everything, i even lost more, i become addicted to gambling to blind myself from being alone. There i lose more, but one day i came to my senses again and try to work hard for what i've lose, right now, my buisnees doing well, i lost two of it, but i am on the process of taking it back. The one's i want to comeback again mostly, is my wife and children. Especially Cain.

Louie kinda get what happened to Cain.

"I think his son got transported in another place too, i shouldn't tell him that but i must one day."

"We just pray that his son, survived living in there, and find Old Yaga or any Mangkukulam that can teleport them back."

Louie comforted him

"I am sorry Carias i didn't know what you've been going through."

And he promised to Carias

"If i managed to do, what i must , then i will help you in finding him. Ok?"

He stopped drinking alchohol, and start to sobber up

"Ok, let's stop this, i don't want to get awkward with you anymore, HAHAHAHAHA."

"Louie are you ready for the big night?"
