As there was nothing for me to do, I walked to
my room to have my afternoon nap but not
before meeting Alice in the corridor.
"Olivia, I need to see you. Hope you aren't
busy?" Alice said, as she walked to me. She
wasn't exactly asking, she was ordering me
and the message was quite clear.
"I'm not busy, Ma. What can I do for you?"
I said lowly.
"Very well then, let's
go to the study. Shall
we? "She said already leading the way.
As we entered the study, in the midst of all
the uncomfortable silence she said,
"You can say no if you want, you know," her
eyes sparkling in delight. She knows that I
can't say no to her but she is still testing me
and my patience.
Yeah right! As if you will let me walk away.
My subconscious said.
I just stared at her not knowing what to say.
