Eric had exited through a ripple of distinct colors and landed in front of the most competitive gaming tournament building a hundred years ago.
He had gone back in time to the exact place of the competition and he was glad the information he previously entered was correct.
Later on, he began to walk into the building but was obstructed by groups of men who looked officially dressed as bouncers.
"Your ticket?"They asked as they stared at Eric.
They were expecting to see a ticket.
Unfortunately for Eric, he had none.
But he also recalled being late for the tournament that very day.
Suddenly, A man bumped up to him which prompted the fall of his ticket.
"I'm sorry ", Eric apologized as he cautiously picked up the ticket.
On handing it back, he caught a glimpse of a familiar face. It was his dear Grandfather, his reincarnate.
Eric knew very much, he would lose the contest. He didn't wish to see him lose again, however, he was there to put an end to that very blunder.
Quickly, he held him back by the lower arm.
" May I help you?"
"I know this might sound a bit crazy but I'm your reincarnate ", Eric boldly spoke out.
" Hey little man, I'm running out of time", he stated clearly to Eric.
He was about stepping out of his presence when Eric said, "What if I prove it to you?"
" And what would that be?" He asked, curiously.
"I know your imaginary password for your future monitor, that is if you win this tournament ".
" And what is it?"
"It's '$8 million is mine'. I'm certainly right".
Henry Wilbeth was unavoidably shocked by his statement.
He had never revealed his secret to anyone, not even his lover.
Nevertheless, Eric resumed his speech," And from my knowledge of the future, you would lose this tournament and as well never get to use a monitor".
"Who do you say you are again?" He asked, still shocked.
"I'm Eric Coldfield, basically you reincarnate from the future".
" What's my favorite meal?" he asked with reluctance.
"Macaroni and cheese"Eric answered rightly.
" Interesting, You want to play for my sake? And if you lose what would you wish your penalty might be?"
"Well, I'm certain I won't lose. But if I do, you can hand me over to the court".
"Interesting, Do you know my name too and essential information for this tournament?"
"You are Harry Wilbeth, Soon to be the best puzzle gamer", Eric said.
Henry Wilbeth heaved out a deep sigh.
Perhaps I should listen to this young man, he thought.
" Ahem", Eric cleared his throat to grab his attention.
"Here", Henry said, stretching his arm to Eric. The ticket was ultimately his.
Getting a hold of it, Eric ambled back to the bouncers and handed him the ticket.
The bouncers looked quite confused. They wondered how Eric was able to get a ticket.
However, he was allowed to get in.
When he got in, he saw the crowd shouting aloud.
He also sighted the gamers walking in with their card number.
Quickly, he hanged his on his neck and ran towards them. He had gotten his card number from the required personnel.
The gamers sauntered to the stage as they orderly picked a monitor of their choice. Eric was not an exception.
There were noises made by a large audience. A lot of people had come to watch the competition. No gender was exclusive.
'I believe you all know the rules. Let the game, Begin!' A clear audible voice spoke out through the help of a microphone.
Eric quickly faced his monitor and input all the required information to start up the game.
Suddenly he saw a timer set to start after ten seconds.

Eric knew he was going to win, nothing could change that

He began to summarize the little things he could remember about his favorite game.

He started.
The first thing he sighted on the monitor was a question.
'Mia and Charlotte were caught in a fight but before they were separated, Mia had got Charlotte injured. Quickly, Charlotte rushed to the hospital whereas Mia left the house. Later on, an unexpected bad news broke that Mia was found dead and after a DNA analysis, it happened that Charlotte was the murderer. Who killed Mia?'
Eric didn't need to assume the answer, he was certain that Charlotte was innocent.
He recalled that during the fight, Charlotte's blood had touched Mia after Charlotte was hit badly. Mia had died on her way because of her asthmatic issue.
She had forgotten her inhaler at home.
He quickly clicked on the option that said,' Charlotte wasn't the murderer.
However, no one out of the hundred gamers had answered that puzzle.
Suddenly, a bust of ribbons flown on his head. He had passed the first stage of the game.
There was a tremendous loud of applause. He knew that he was definitely going to win after passing that stage.
He caught a glimpse of Henry Wilbeth. He wondered how he got in without a ticket nevertheless he sighted the grin on his face but something hit Eric.
That day was the same day Henry's lover broke up with him because he didn't win before he found Eric's grandmother.
Does that mean he wouldn't exist?
After all, he had won the competition so he was certain that Henry Wilbeth former lover wouldn't leave.
What would go wrong in the future?
