Chapter Thirty Peter banged the back door open and yelled, “EJ, where are you?” EJ ran into the kitchen from the sitting room. “What’s wrong?” Charlie appeared at her side, her face showing concern. “Sean O’Dell is over at the saloon. I thought you might want a little warning before he showed up on your porch,” Peter said. EJ caught her balance, putting her hand on the wall. “What? Why? What did you tell him?” “He’s here to ask you to go to Missouri with him.
