Alledandro came out of the castle walking towards the black G-wagon parked in front of the castle, his eyes settled on Aurora, who was now in a body-fitting leather suit which brought out the outline of her curves. He couldn't help with his imagination, running wild with erotic thoughts. Shaking his head slightly, he walked to the car. “Good morning Sir,” Mike greeted him as he opened the car, “Fine morning Mike, what's the schedule for today?” Alledandro replied while entering inside, not sparing Aurora an eye. “You wanted to visit the horse ranch, its owner still owes us a debt,” Mike replied while entering the driver's seat. After a while, he spoke to Aurora, who was still standing outside the car not knowing what to do,“ Miss, you would need to enter the back seat through the other door, we can't keep waiting for you, you know!” This earned a slight chuckle from Alledandro inside the car, prompting Aurora to go red with embarrassment while entering the car. Soon the car left the mansion. The environment around the castle was beautiful and quiet, as told in fairy tales and folklore, but Aurora was too occupied to appreciate the beauty. “May I ask why?” She spoke all of a sudden amidst her low voice. “Seems like the little Demon isn't brave enough again,” he replied with a light chuckle. “You have been briefed, you will be my personal maid, and you are constantly going to be by my side," he casually stated. “But why did you choose me?” she asked. Here he was thinking the little Demon had lost her morale a few seconds ago, now she was questioning him? “You are quite an observant little Demon, I did choose you for a reason,” he replied with a carefree smile. “May I ask what?” “No, figure it out yourself, since you are already observant, that's your first task I am issuing you,” he stated. Did he not want to answer or is he simply avoiding the question? Well, I might as well focus on observing, She thought. Soon the car stopped at a ranch far from the city. They all disembarked the ride and walked to the barn not far from the ranch. Meanwhile, Aurora was taking in the sights in front of her and calculating. “A hidden camera! Maybe it's used to watch and observe the ranch, or maybe it's used to keep people or in this case, someone safe from outsiders.” “Aurora, in the last fifty steps we took, what did you notice about your environment?” Alledandro asked, not stopping his steps as he calmly walked to the barn. “Four cameras in total, one by the ranch entrance, another by the field behind the tree, the third's behind the lamp in the yard and, if my guess is correct, the last should be at the barn,” Aurora replied, causing Alledandro to pause his steps and turn to her. “Impressive,” he stated, then continued walking. “Well, it's one of the skills you get from surviving long enough on your own wits,” she replied. Soon, they reached the door of the barn and Aurora's assumption had been correct. They walked in the barn calmly without unhurried steps. “Anybody home?” Mike spoke, his voice loud enough. Soon a man who seemed to be in his late forties came from the other entrance. He paled as he saw the man in front of him,” Sir Shadow, I wasn't expecting to see you today,” he spoke, trying to seem calm. “Well, just passed by the neighborhood and decided to greet an associate,” Alledandro replied with a smile betraying the killing intent in his eyes. “Well sir Shadow, I assure you, I just need more time and your money will be delivered to you,” the elderly man spoke, trying to hide the panic in his voice. “Well, mayor, if I might remind you of our transaction, you confiscated heavy weapons from the police department, and then we supplied you with the buyers with an agreement that we would be receiving a 40 percent share of the transaction, which you agreed to* it's been 2 weeks since that transaction, and I am yet to receive my percentage, and need you to forget, I am not a man of patience”. “I just need more time to..” Bam! Alledandro's first slammed into the mayor's face like a sledgehammer, making the man stumble backwards, blood gushing from his nose. “I am not a man of patience, mayor,” Bam! “You think we don't know you already got paid?” Bam! “You dare try to double-cross The Shadows?” Bam! Alledandro lashed out while overwhelming the mayor with a series of punches, Aurora was shaken,’ Is this the same man who always smiled at my provocation, knowing fully well he could erase me if he wanted?’ Aurora realized that behind that smiling face was still a Devil she had heard about. But still something didn't feel right, she thought. “Stop” Bam “Stop!” Alledandro's stopped and stared at her and then , Bam! Hitting the mayor one more time and then walking up to her, while Mike passed him a piece of white cloth to clean his bloodied hands. Stopping in front of her, he spoke,” What if I don't little Demon? What are you going to do about it?” “Something isn't right!” she spoke , her eyes scanning the environment. “Yea, my money isn't here, so something is not right,” Alledandro spoke. “No, I mean something is suspicious, and I can't get my fingers around it, four cameras, from different angles, but no stops?Doesn't it seem odd?” Alledandro stopped and scanned the area. He was aware of the fact but didn't want to talk about it but now he thought otherwise. Meanwhile, Aurora continued, “There's always a station to monitor the cameras, but we can't seem to find any here. It's either he has a secret room for the monitor, or someone else is monitoring instead of him!” She realized, eyes widening with realization. “It's a trap” BANG!
