FENRIR'S POINT OF VIEW I knew the Allfather would be here. Of course, he'd be here. He wanted to recreate Ragnarök in his own image. The large ash tree that sits atop this mountain is almost as big as Yggdrasil, the world tree; from this view point you can see all around. It reminded him of the world that once was, the world he tried to rule over. The world that was once both of our homes. He's playing with me now. He wants to rile me up, get me agitated. He might be called the wisest of them all, but he's arrogant. I am a patient wolf. I learned that from him. Well, actually I learned it because of him. If he hadn't chained me up for a few hundred years, I might still be as impatient as I was when I was a young wolf. I can wait, he won't go anywhere. I know he's watching me from afar.
