The weekend went by rather fast with Alena moving off to the police academy. The starting of a new week came and my two weeks leave was over.
"Welcome back, Miss Ciara!" The company workers chorused in unison.
Honesty I had expected them to be busy with the hotel project. To busy to throw me a welcome party. But they'd done so.
I beamed. "Thank you, everyone. I'm truly touched"
"Alright people" Brittney commands, clapping her hands. "Back to work"
Turning to face me, she says. "Welcome, Ciara"
"Thank you, Brittney. Come with me to my office and keep me to date with everything that has been happening so far"
"Actually, Ciara-" Her voice trails off. "Mr Kendall is waiting for you in your office"
