Slowly opening my eyes, I find myself laying on the couch. s**t, had I fallen asleep?.
"Are you up?" Alena asks, taking a seat beside me on the couch.
Sitting upright, I apologized. "I'm sorry for falling asleep"
"Don't push yourself so hard, Dad. You know I don't like it when you do"
"I'm sorry"
"Are you feeling refreshed after your nap?"
"I am feeling better than before though"
"Okay, good" Springing up from the couch, Alena extends her hand out to me. "Let's go"
Confused, I asked. "To where?"
"You said you wanted to spend the whole day with me, Dad" She feigns hurt. "Or didn't you mean what you said?"
"I did" Taking her hands in mine, I springed up from the couch. "What do you want to do next?"
"It's a surprise" she smirks.
