10 THE UNDERONS 'Thank you, thank you,' an elderly man said, shaking Michael's hand vigorously as the other Kingsmen stood up and stretched. 'No, it was nothing really…' he replied, as the others came up to thank him too, grasping his hands and capturing him in fierce bear hugs. 'I thought we would starve before anyone came to help us,' the old man continued, as Michael clutched at his ribs after a man the size of a gorilla had finally released him from his grip.
