Chapter two: The crazy rush show

" What is seriously wrong with you." Charles fumed with anger as Beatrice, after loosing sight of Clara from the crowds.

Beatrice was too scared to respond back to Charles, who was severely angry to tolerate her, when she noticed the approach of man, dressed with a pure black suit and a dark shade glass, his name was Joel Lucas.

"hello brother in-law". Joel replied with no single respond from Charles.

"I came to invite you to my exquisite show, to boost up you and Beatrice relationship status, aren't you excited about finally settling the war between our two companies." Joel replied as Charles took a deep breath.

"Am starting to regret the business negotiation to marry your sister, I only agreed, cause it could boost the power of our company co-operation and conduct, financial development inventory upgrade and building enablement. however, I can't spend the rest of my life with Beatrice, I don't love her."Charles explained firmly to Joel, who stared at his sister down look.

"Charles,". Joel chuckled. in business, love before marriage isn't a compulsory scenario, you could establish a higher progress of lex and Lucas industries, it's not for only our personal gain." he exclaimed as Charles smiled with a rage of combat.

"Using my name to support the financial debt, of your industry isn't business, I upgraded my father's industry (lex industries), with my diligence, strength and hard work to be the top number one industry in the state, why don't you try to make that progress and stop using the treaty as an excuse". Charles walked away angrily as Joel shot back.

"You know we all have weak points, I own tma successful news industry and one bad comment from it could lead to a celebrity downfall." Joel responded as Charles stopped; shocked by the words coming from his mouth."

"An illegitimate child, isn't supposed to run a family right industry, cause that alone could lead to a severe press destruction, you better hold that journalism industry, cause it could be your only hope when the Lucas name goes down." Charles exclaimed not bothered to look at his shocked expression.

How did he know the sin my father committed before he had me; cheating on Beatrice mother who never wanted to keep me, neither could she bore a male child so cherished me, this secret was hidden away from society till now that my rival had said it. Joel thought with half way to tears, shocked by another dramatic pause by Charles.

"Oh I guess, see you at the interview Charles bounced away from the two restrained siblings; answering the call he previously received.

"Last Saturday was a huge bummer for me." Clara exclaimed to her colleague named Joy, who was kind and of her emotional support guide in the journalism office where she's the main director of story writes, for news casters on the highly certified news channel called crazy rush.

" Let me guess, another married guy." Joy replied as Clara let a great sigh.

"Worst, his engaged and is my formal college mate; it was just soo pathetic." Clara answered trying to let out few of her problems.

"OMG, what his name." Joy asked Soo considerate and worried.

"Charle lex". Joel, their managing director and the CEO of the entire journalism industry replied, interrupting their conversation.

"I need you to write on Charles lex and Beatrice Lucas; the latest crazy rush couples; their going to be broadcasted live today on our show.

He loves looked directly at Clara sad eyes, dropping a huge pile of documents.

"It's another married guy right." he smiled as the two ladies stared furiously at him.

"Sorry sir, but it's none of your business, unless you can give me a long day off, not bothering about people that has terrible chemistry."

Clara shouted at furiously at her boss , who was actually shocked by her attitude; she was normally a social interactive and loyal worker, but some how today was different.

",I'm sorry, but I can't give you a day off through out the week, Charles lex is coming for an exclusive interview in our show and I need my trustworthy worker to handle the event." Joel spoke calmly to Clara, who sadly took a deep breath.

" the story line would be ready in about an hour." she answered in a low tone, carrying the files from her desk, as Joel walked away; he had always wondered when Clara could realize he's the right companion for her, even though he tried to make it seem obvious, but she always just doesn't seem interested.

A low life looser like you could be scarred for life. those words from Beatrice played repeatedly in Clara's head, as she wrote gently in the story line of the interview; she had regretted not showing that spoilt brat her true colors because of the fact that she was in the midst of her college best friend, when she smiled sheepishly, writing the words that came to her head.

"I'm done." Clara chuckled stepping into Joel office as she gave him the files.

"Wow! that was fast, you really had inspection." Joel took the script surprised, and signed it for quick input by the computer officials with trust.

" Thanks for making me feel relieved, this interview is really going to hit the top rank." she replied and walked out with evil intensions.

"What did you do". Joy eyed suspiciously, as she noticed the mischievous grin on Clara's face.

"Nothing much,since it's you and Eric that's interviewing the so called couples of the month, all you guys have to do is read whatever is in the screen play, add comedy slants, and keep on rolling, see you guys in about an hour." Clara smirked mischievously and headed back to her desk.

The set of the news environment was properly built, camera's were on set from different corners, the current news casters which were Joy and Eric got ready for the show, as the crazy rush couples of the month arrived in an hour later.
