Chapter Three: A show gone wrong

Charles stepped into the news room, unaware of clara's presence who was behind the scene.

He had looked extremely tired and oppressed while his fiance only cared about the camera attention m, which by the way was not aware of the situation she had put herself through.

"So me and Mrs lex, if I may say, how do you two dashing couple feel about being nominated as the months crazy rush celebrity couples, especially you Mrs lex, your outfit is literally killing the show." Joy began as the camera's officials began rolling making a great start on the plan

"Well......

"First of all this gown is a crystal geons original design; the latest fashion product, and we feel excrucially excited to be on the show." Beatrice rudely interrupted Charles, as Joy smiled to scan their weak points, she had interrogated Clara earlier on what was going on and volunteerly offered to help with the drama.

"Okay, Soo I'm sure your love for Charles is only rated for the biased amount of latest fashion trends."

"What are you exactly trying to say." Charles surprisingly cut in, confused on the insult of his so called fiancee.

"We don't really think you guys chemistry is that strong, your smiles are on the outside but tears are all inside."

The audacity she had to say those words gave Charles an instant rage.

"It's not acceptable that you insult my fiancee on air like that, when we're the ones that decided to come to this show, one more negative word could lead to an instant termination of this whole industry." Charles exclaimed in sudden support of Beatrice.

Clara had not expected that at all, what she had written in that speech was mostly on diverse insults for Beatrice Lucas, not even an ounce of praise, it was just up to Eric to save their plan.

"sorry mr Lex, but we couldn't help to control our brief functions; cause the crazy rush show, deals with rapid questions on individuals who are set for the married life, or those with twist and turns on getting there, we advice couples on the ideals whether to take that step or gently get back behind. Eric shot back, keeping the show on the roll.

" It's actually been a long trip coming here, that why we don't tolerate your agitating jokes." Beatrice quickly answered with the little dignity she had.

"Sure then, we are going to ask some couple questions on your favorite things."

"Like the connection you two first had before the big question." Joy and Eric responded.

Charles could not tolerate the show again hearing those painful words, he had never falling in love with Beatrice and was not allowed to reveal the business treaty, everything going on had just messed up with his head with his head, there was nothing he could say again; forcefully leaving with his fiancee.

The camera officials just changed from live, to commercial as Clara chased after him.

"Mr Lex." she yelled with speed.

"This is all my fault, I wrote the aggressive screenplay, so please don't take it on the industry." Clara continued as Charles without quickly looking back , shouted with agitation.

"It was nothing about your stupid scree.......". he immediately kept quiet, realizing it was the voice tone of Clara.

Mr Lex, I just need you to give us another chance, please." Clara cried.

Charles was shocked by the sudden presence of Clara again. he felt that the coincidence of the sight of her captivating beauty, would destroy the business treaty that could develop his industry.

he didn't even bother to turn around as he quickly left with Beatrice by his side.

As Clara came back to the news room, the first face she saw was the disappointed look on Joel, she actually thought she was going to get fired.

"I should have let you take that break, we almost got sued because of the offensive screen play, that you wrote, is he the guy."

" yeah I was just"......Clara tried to explain, but Joel heart was already too weak to hit another crack.

"You can go now, I give you a one week break, until this interviews are over, or if Mr Lex would even want to do it again Joel murmured, picking up his phone from the back of his pocket as he diss dissapointedly walked away, Clara wasn't sure what a break mean, is she getting fired or taking a rest, because in this situation she would obviously fire herself.

She felt Soo much twisted on the situation she was in, the was Charles fought his fiance felt a little wrong for her, and he also completely ignored her pleas on the risk of her job, wasn't it the same Charles she met two days ago, isn't that her friend, or maybe he turns to a serious jerk when it comes to his business
