Today is the first day of school, Giyo swiftly moves around the crowded entrance while reading a novel. A lot of students are crowding the entrance with the hopes of recruiting freshmen's into joining their clubs but Giyo paid no attention to any of them, he does not plan of joining any clubs. He wants to enjoy the school year without the burden of being a member of a certain club.
He's almost near his classrooms building when suddenly he heard someone called
" Hey, you blue haired kid do you want to join our club? " someone shouted from behind, Giyo looked up and began scanning the whole area to check if it is him that's been called.
He's almost near his classrooms building when suddenly he heard someone called
" Hey, you blue haired kid do you want to join our club? " someone shouted from behind, Kuroko looked up and began scanning the whole area to check if it is him that's been called
" I'm talking to you the one holding a book " the boy shouted and Kuroko turned to look at the said boy calling him, he tilted his head a little 'he can see me?' Giyo thought, clearly baffled
" Do you want to join our club? " said the brown haired boy as he excitedly ran to where Giyo stood
" I'm sorry but, I'm not interested in joining your club " came Giyo's immediate answer as he was about leave and continue walking, he felt a warm hand wrapped around his wrist
" Do you already have a club? " the brunette asked seriously
" No " Giyo answered truthfully.
" GREAT!!! YOU'RE PART OF THE VOLLEYBALL CLUB NOW " suddenly the brunette cheered as he dragged Giyo to their table, Giyo stared at the boy with disbelief and slight annoyance but he did a good job hiding it behind his blank facade. When they stopped running Giyo stared at the boy blankly, the brunette coughed awkwardly as he scratched his nape
" I'm sorry, We really need you to be able to establish the volleyball club. We only have 6 members now, we need atleast 7 to be eligible to create the club " the boy explained
Giyo stared and stared, he really didn't plan to join any clubs especially clubs that's sports related but as he saw the desperation in the boys eyes and the hopelessness in his voice. Giyo knew this feeling and he hated it, he doesn't want to crush the hope of the boy infront of him, he's not cruel to kill someone's passion.
He knows he'll regret this decision in the near future, but it's the problem for his future self. Without saying a word he stepped forward as he picked up the pen and started filling up the application form. Giyo saw the glint of happiness in the boys eyes, Giyo felt at ease knowing he's able to revive the boy's hope.
" Alken Yulee Zaragosa but you can call me Kenyu, Class 1-B " the brunette introduced as he smiled cheekily
" You're a freshman too? " Giyo asked noticing that the boy and him are classmates.
" Ahh yes, my brother told me that this school doesn't have a volleyball club so I made application forms beforehand to be able to recruit members on the first day of school " the boy stated his voice filled with determination, Giyo can see fiery passion burning inside the boy's iris, he never met someone this dedicated towards a sport (maybe he did but that person is someone he doesn't want to think about).
" Giovanni Yoichi, Giyo for short, Class 1-B " the blue head introduced as he shook hands with the boy.
"We're classmates then?" the childish demeanor disappeared in an instant, as if Giyo's talking to a different person, he could only nod as awkwardness began to envelope the atmosphere.
After they exchange a few words, Giyo again began his journey to his classroom. He's in deep thoughts, did he really make the right decision? is the dominant thought that's occupying his head. He snapped out of his dazed when his phone vibrated, he fetched his phone from his pocket and checked the message.
How's school? Are you having fun? Did you join a club? I know you said you won't but maybe you had a change of heart right?
Ahh, it's a message from someone related to volleyball. A miniscule smile is plastered on Giyo's face as he thought of the coincidence.
The blue head finally found himself inside his assigned classroom. He immediately made his way to the back seat near the window. Infront of him is a tall scary looking red head with weird eyebrows and because of Giyo's weak presence he remained unnoticed.
Class went by a flash, he packed his things without car of others and the next thing he knew is he's already on his way home.
"Giyo?" the blue head felt a tap on his shoulder.
"Giyo, you also live in this neighborhood?" It was Kenyu, the said brunette is smiling gently at him as he occupied Giyo's side.
' He really can see me '
Giyo is a child born with low presence, his low presence makes him almost ghost like, people can hardly notice him and he's got use to the feeling of being unnoticed. The only person who can see him is his childhood friend, well used to be friend. The person who pays a lot of attention to Giyo, even the very little details is noticed, yet that said friend disappeared like a ghost.
Giyo looked at Kenyu with complete amusement, it feels weird but at the same time warm that someone can actually see and notice him without him needing to announce his presence.
