"Vindicate yourself from what exactly? No one is pointing fingers at you right now, you're the one following a hunch that could get you in trouble, when it could all just be a mere coincidence," Scott grimaces, adjusting his body to look at her square in the eyes.
"Picture this. Let's say you're right and this has something to do with the theft from the lab or the wolfsbane from your experiment, have you considered that your experiment could be shut down? You could even be accused of being a part of the drug ring disguising your experiment. I can see so many ways that this isn't something you should chase."
