Later that evening, Royce drives to his shoe factory on the outskirts of town. He walks through the factory floor, nodding at some of his men who are hanging around, before heading to a hidden entrance behind some gigantic shoe boxes.
He opens the door and walks through.
It leads down to a basement that is originally in the storage room, but he has converted it into something way more useful.
The underground lab is small, but it has everything that he needs, state of the art equipment that is probably better than what they have at the university.
In the middle of the room, Scott is hunched over a desk with Raven's journal spread out in front of him.
He looks nervous as usual and keeps pushing his glasses up his nose.
