Silence follows.
No response from the other side of the door for a few seconds. Raven's gaze is fully fixed on the door, like she can see Draco behind it, her chest rising and falling slowly in anticipation and then she hears the sound of his receding footsteps.
Her heart clenches painfully, a wave of air forcing its way down her throat and pushing tears up her eyes. She sucks in a sharp breath, pushing the tears back before they can pool in her eyes and fall.
