October 31st I braced myself before stepping into the school, knowing how noisy it would be. Guessing correctly, my ears throbbed as I walked through the corridors and entered the booming classroom. I wish I could escape to the library or the rooftop garden. Students were racing around the room, setting everything up, climbing chairs and tables like crazy monkeys. Forgetting I existed, I took the opportunity to sit down and pick up a book. The noises around me faded as I entered an imaginary world.
