A shiver ran through my body as I awoke with Eric nibbling my ear. I turned around and could hardly open my eyes before he kissed me passionately. He the pulled away and stared into my eyes. My eyes nervously wandered and my skin flushed, not knowing what to do.
“Eric?” I felt the embarrassment grow.
“Your eyes…” He stroked my cheek. “I noticed they were red yesterday. Have you been crying?”
I nodded and pressed my face against Eric’s bare chest, hugging him tightly. “I was scared.” He placed his large, warm hands on my back at the sound of my weakening voice. “I thought we were really over.”
“I’m sorry.” Eric sighed, holding me tightly. “I thought I was doing the right thing, but I only ended up hurting you.” Regret reverberated in his voice and his arms hugged me like they never want
