My heart was shattered, and I was totally lost. Walking out of the bookstore, I had no idea where to go or what to do. I just wandered aimlessly down the sidewalk. Tears streamed down my face, making passersby turn their heads. Their stares showed curiosity, but I couldn't care less about them right now. All I could do was mourn my breakup with Anthony. I hadn't called my mom to pick me up yet, but I really didn't want to go home. I wasn't ready to tell Mom that Anthony and I were over. Now I was all alone in a strange place, and the only person I knew, Lucas, I'd let leave first, and now I had no idea where to go. I didn't even know my way home.
