6. Stuck In His Wild Game

1390 Words
Casey POV My jaw dropped, but I quickly snapped it shut with my hand. This is insane. The annoying guy I'm most scared of is being treated like this. I didn't dare say anything. The situation was so awkward, but also tense. I never thought someone would dare slap this rebellious, fearless-looking guy, but his dad's expression was even scarier. "What the hell, Dad!" I saw genuine fury from Noah. What should I do? Should I just bail and let them sort their stuff out? Why did I get dragged into a situation I don't even understand? I really wanted to run. Mayor Peter Adam's gaze was sharp and felt aggressive. He glanced at me for a second, and I felt like a helpless duck, ready to be devoured. "I heard reports about a riot in the city center. It involved a motorcycle gang. You must be involved!" The Mayor's voice boomed. "How many times do I have to tell you I have nothing to do with them, Dad. I go to college every day. I only know one or two guys from Black Hell. That doesn't mean I'm involved with them. I'm not stupid. I have to protect your reputation, right? I came because I wanted to introduce you to someone." Noah pulled me forward, putting me face-to-face with Peter Adam. All I could hear was my heart pounding. I'm just an introverted girl who knows nothing, and now I have to meet a mayor. What the hell is with my life? "She's Casey Turner, my girlfriend. We met on campus, and we're now seeing each other. She comes from a good family. You can check it yourself." My eyes widened in confusion at the ridiculous story Noah was spewing. Girlfriend? Oh, my god. This is a f*****g joke. I would never date a delinquent like Noah, especially not the Mayor's son. Mr. Peter Adam stared at me stiffly, full of unspoken accusations, but it was more intimidating than anything. "You're dating my son?" Mr. Peter Adam asked me, his voice sending shivers down my spine. What should I say? I didn't want to lie, but if I said no, I'd definitely get in trouble with Noah. "Um, yeah. I'm Noah's girlfriend. I just moved to this town, and Noah pursued me. So, no harm in trying to start a relationship in a new place." What's wrong with me? Why am I so good at lying? I glanced at Noah. He was secretly smiling. I wanted an explanation for all of this. I didn't want to get dragged into his problems with his dad. "I'll make sure you're not lying, Noah. Ken will investigate this. Don't lie to me, or I'll act. Things have been unstable in Wood Town lately. If you're involved, I won't hesitate to take more extreme measures. Don't test my patience. I'll make sure someone's watching you." Noah was so calm, even though the threat didn't sound fun at all. Watched? But how could he be connected to a biker gang? "Honey." The beautiful woman next to Mr. Peter Adam hooked her arm through his. "Don't be angry. You should be happy your son came to visit and brought his beautiful girlfriend. How about we ask them to join us for dinner here? I'll ask the chef to make something special for them." Who was this woman? Why was she calling Mr. Peter Adam "Honey"? Was she his wife? But Noah clearly showed hatred towards her. Mr. Peter Adam gave Noah a sharp look. "You hear that? Have dinner here. I'll ask your girlfriend a few things." I hoped Noah would refuse. I didn't want to lie any further. If this got exposed, I'd be dead. Please, Noah. Just say no. "Okay. I'm so hungry. After that, I have to go home. She has a curfew she needs to follow." I was disappointed, hoping this was a joke, but Noah was serious. We were stuck here, not leaving until after dinner. *** While waiting for dinner to be prepared in the dining room, Noah led me into a room. He closed the door, making sure no one could get in. Immediately, I burst out with a loud protest about Noah's impulsive behavior. "Why did you trap me?!" I shrieked. I don't know where I got this courage. I couldn't stand not grilling Noah. "Chill, Girl. We have a deal." "I never said I agreed to any deal! Why did you have to lie to your dad? I mean... Why do I have to be involved in this lie?!" "I'm helping you get revenge." "I don't need your f*****g help, Noah! I should go. Take me home now." Wood Town is a quiet town? It's f*****g bullshit. I've only been living in this town for a few days, and all I'm getting is trouble, not peace. I don't want to be involved in anything. I just want a normal life like everyone else. And Noah's planning some crazy idea that's gonna put me on a rollercoaster. I feel like I lose all morality whenever I'm near Noah. My mom's right, I shouldn't be anywhere near a delinquent. Noah just smiled. He completely ignored my frustration. He didn't have an ounce of empathy for me. I had to get home before dinner, or my mom would be super worried. And she definitely couldn't know I was with Noah. She'd already seen him with his gang. I tried to get out of the room, but he pulled me back, trying to get closer, making me flinch. His gaze was intense and sharp. I backed away, trying to avoid him, but my back hit the wall so that I couldn't run anywhere. "Noah, what are you doing?" My voice trembled slightly. Noah didn't answer. Instead, he just stared at me even deeper, as if looking for an opportunity. He trapped me. One hand touched the wall near my head, while his other hand traced my arm, moving to my waist, pulling me into a tight embrace. "Nothing's free in this world, Miss. I already saved you. You should be thanking me. Not getting all mad." His low voice was dominating. "You got on my bike, right?" "You offered me!" "You could've said no." I couldn't argue. I'm terrible at communicating. My chest heaved with my pounding heart. "You're not going anywhere, girl. My dad sees you as my girlfriend. He's gonna be watching us." "What the hell… " "Shhh, don't curse. I told my dad you're a good girl. Don't blow it too early. I'll give you our kiss video later. You can use it to get back at your ex." My body was locked, even though I tried to struggle. The pressure Noah put on me was too much to bear. His strength was immense. I tried to move my hands, but he quickly seized them. His face was right in front of mine. No, I didn't want to kiss him again. "Let me go, Noah!" "Nope." Noah refused flatly. He had that distinct cigarette smell. "We gotta get everything sorted today." "Don't involve me." "But you're already involved. There's no turning back." "You're a jerk, Noah." Noah chuckled, but his voice was muffled. He made sure our conversation couldn't be heard from outside. He was happy seeing me suffer. It was infuriating. I wanted to get out of here. "You know what. Your lips are so tempting. Full, red, and wet. Always inviting me to taste them." "Don't joke around!" "I don't." Without waiting for my permission, he landed his lips on mine. No. I didn't want this to happen again. This wasn't a gentle kiss, full of passion or anything. This was a cold, dominating, forced kiss. His lips pressed hard, without any understanding, demanding that this was truly his. I froze, helpless. Disgust spread through me. I tried to pull away, but Noah's free hand moved, holding me, pressing harder, igniting anger and fear. But at the same time, I felt shivers down my spine. Something I'd never felt before, even when I kissed Anthony. A sensation I only got from my fear of Noah. After a few seconds, Noah pulled back. His gaze was still sharp on me. He waited for my reaction. "How is it? You like it?" he said with a smirk.
