Elowen was in the Bond Welfare office when the household courier brought it, the pale cream envelope bearing the Journal's formal seal, and she set aside what she was working on and opened it without the hesitation of someone managing their own expectations.
She read it once.
Accepted for publication. Minor revisions requested to the third section's citation structure. Expected publication in the winter edition, which would reach healer practitioners in all twelve territories by the new year.
She folded the letter and set it down.
