Elara's heart skipped a beat as she acknowledged that it was the voice of her husband, John. She hadn't told him she was coming out here to the balcony to have some free time, and now she feared the most.
Before she could react, John stormed in through the open floor of the balcony of the mansion. His face twisted with rage, “What are you doing here?” He spat, his eyes locking onto Elara.
Elara tried to speak, but the words caught in her throat as John grabbed her roughly by the arm and pulled her towards the door.
Ethan watched in shock as Elara was dragged away. He had never seen his elder brother, John, act this way before going abroad, and he couldn't help but feel a pang of concern for Elara's safety.
Elara's cries grew louder, the pain taking over as John continued to drag her up the stairs. She could feel her scalp burning as he yanked at her hair, and tears streamed down her face as she begged him to stop.
“Please, John, stop, you are hurting me!” She sobbed, her voice desperate.
But John only laughed, a cold smile, a cruel smile that sends shivers down Elara's spine. “You think this hurts? You haven't seen anything,” he snarled, his grip even tighter.
Elara whimpered, her body shaking with pain and fear.
But as the cries kept getting louder, Ethan couldn't take it any longer, he knew he was meant to do something. Without hesitation, he rushed inside, locking his face into John's furious face.
“Handle her gently,” Ethan barked as John hurt her more and more as he tightened his grip on Elara's hand.
He knew he had to do something, but he wasn't sure what. “Just let her go, John,” Ethan said calmly. “You are hurting her.”
But John wasn't willing to flinch at all, “Stay out of this, Ethan,” he snarled, his eyes flashing with fury. “This is between me and my wife, okay?, If it's not so pleasing to you, then leave!”
John pushed open the door to their bedroom and shoved Elara onto the bed, her cries filling the room as he slammed the door closed. He stood over her, his face twisted with anger and frustration.
Ethan stood there by the door, helpless, not knowing what else to do, as the memories of how they met flickered through his mind.
It was years ago when Ethan left for Spain. He tries to escape the Blake name, though born into wealth, he never wanted to become so power-hungry as his elder brother was then. He enrolled in a state-run Naval Academy program, preparing for basic officer training. He kept a low profile, often dressing simply, blending in.
During that time, he’d visit the public hospital for volunteer hours (a condition of his program).
That’s where he met Aiden, Elara’s younger brother — bright, funny, and determined to survive despite his condition. Ethan and Aiden clicked. Aiden, not knowing Ethan’s last name, just called him “E” or “Sir Navy.”
They both talk a lot, all those times Ethan has been a secret admirer of Elara, but never approached her, even though Elara didn't know who he was, only her brother, Aiden, knows about it. On a faithful day, Aiden collapsed outside a corner store. Ethan, who was there with him, carried him to the hospital and footed the emergency deposit quietly.
Elara arrived, panicked. She met Ethan in the waiting room, still in his navy training gear — nothing about him screamed “billionaire.” He served her a drink and made her not worry about his brother's bills that day. Their conversation was short, but heavy with emotion. Ethan stayed until Aiden stabilized, then disappeared, telling Elara: “Some people save lives. You save his life every day. That’s something.”
Just some days later, Ethan was deployed to Spain as part of a training exchange. He lost contact with Nathan. Never saw Elara again.
Coming back months later, he's shocked to find his beloved little friend’s sister, Elara, now living under John’s roof as his wife.
“You felt a bit uncomfortable when he came around yesterday, didn't you? He spat. “But, you still went to him, behind my back, to speak with him, you were even smiling.”
Elara trembled, her tears streaming down her face. “It……it's not what you think, I only went out to the balcony to have some—”
“Shut the hell up!” John interrupted, not wanting to hear what happened anyway, as he moved towards the bed. Elara's heart began to race, and she tried to crawl away, but he was too quick, as he grabbed her by the arm and pulled her back towards him.
She was tense as he claimed onto the bed, looming over her. Elara pleaded with him to stop, her voice trembling with emotion.
“Please, John, stop. Don't do this to me,” She begged.
But John turned a deaf ear to her pleas, his eyes dark and dangerous as he moved closer to her. Elara felt her heart race even faster, her breath coming in short gasps as she tried to push him away.
“I am going to teach you a lesson today,” he snarled, his voice low and menacing. “Next time, you don't walk out of this room and go out to talk to anyone without my permission. You belong to me, Elara, and you need to understand that!”
“J—John, please, I won't do it again,” she stammered, her voice barely above a whisper.
But John was not listening at all; he pushed her down onto the bed, her face facing his as he ripped her clothes off her body. Elara cried out in pain, but John didn't stop.
Her body shook with fear as he took off her bra, exposing her firm titts to his gaze with a bright smile on his face as he was enjoying the cruel act he was about to manifest.
