Simona “I’m talking to HR about taking the next few days off. I want to be here, instead of at work wondering if he’s, you know, still with us.” Uncle Ricardo said. I nodded my head, took a sip of coffee. It had to have been my sixth or seventh cup, and I still couldn’t keep my eyes open. “I’ll be here all day, she won’t be alone. If anything happens, I’ll call.” My uncle hugged me, grabbed his lunch off the kitchen counter, and left. How did I really feel about my uncle?
