Randall slows his pace as we approach the falls, turning to me with a huge smile spread across his face. “Ready?”
I nod, feeling just as excited as he seems to be as he leads me along a few more feet and steps aside, letting me stand next to him so I can see.
“It’s so beautiful,” I say, staring at the gorgeous waterfall in front of us.
“Not quite as beautiful as you, but it’s something,” he tells me, tugging on my hand and leading me closer. “Come on. We’re going to get closer.”
He leads me down a path leading down a hill and stops under a few trees with a gorgeous view of the waterfall. He places the basket on the ground and pulls out a blanket, spreading it on the ground. “Sit,” he tells me, a huge smile on his face.
