I wake and the room is still dark, the first flicker of light barely trying to peek through the edges of the curtains. I roll over to find Randall missing. I can smell the humid scent of his soap and realize he must have just left, the room still thick with his freshly washed scent. I sigh, laying back down and snuggle into the pillows, falling back asleep. —------- I wake again, the sun shining brightly now, and find a tray with breakfast on the nightstand.
