I wanted to laugh hearing Helen put that little girl in her place. I covered my mouth halfway through her speech, muffling the chuckle that almost slipped out.
Knowing we had her here and away from Jaxson, I felt like doing a victory dance. I heard footsteps approaching. As I spun around, I saw a young girl. She stopped a few steps away as she looked at the door, then me,
"Excuse me, Luna sent for me," She squeaked, pointing her finger at the closed.
Stepping back, I gestured for her to go ahead. She gave me a small smile and said, "Thank you."
She knocked on the door turning the knob,
"Luna." I heard her say before she shut the door,
My phone dinged. Pulling it out, I looked at the screen. Letting out a groan,
