I rolled over, pulling the blanket to my chin as I snuggled deeper into the bed. Jax left early this morning. I have no idea how he was up and moving so early. I was bone tired, but in a good way. We stayed up late last night till the early morning, so seeing him up and dressed all wide awake.
He said he had some pack business to handle and a ton of paperwork that needed to be taken care of. I was ready to get up and come help him, but he told me to stay and rest. Who would argue with the alpha? So, I followed his orders.
