Chapter 1:The moon light Birth

317 Words
The ocean whispered secrets only Seraphina could hear. Her tail flicked anxiously beneath the silver glow of the full moon as the waves rocked her gently. Tonight, the sea hummed differently—it carried both a promise and a warning. She had felt the life growing within her for months, three pairs of tiny hearts beating alongside her own. And now, in the quiet cove where the water met the shore, the moment had come. Pain and magic intertwined as Seraphina rose from the depths. With each wave that kissed the sand, the first cries of her children echoed across the water. Three pairs of twins—two boys and a girl—emerged into the human world, their tiny bodies trembling but alive. She lifted them close, her heart bursting with a joy she had never known. But from the shadows, eyes gleamed with greed. A fisherman, silent and calculating, had been watching. To him, these infants were no miracles—they were treasures, ripe for taking. Before dawn, while Seraphina’s exhaustion made her vulnerable, he struck. The babies were snatched from the shore, wrapped in cloths meant to hide their delicate forms. By the time Seraphina awoke fully, the cove was empty, and the tide carried only her anguished cries. “Where… where are my children?” she whispered to the moon, the sea trembling around her as if mourning with her. The fisherman vanished into the mist, leaving the twins to a life far from the ocean’s embrace. Months would pass, and the world above would claim them, while Seraphina swam endlessly beneath the waves, her heart tethered to the land, yearning for the children she had lost. And somewhere, far beyond her reach, the first threads of fate were already weaving their story—a story that would one day bring mother and children together, across the impossible divide of sea and sky.
