In the still of the of the night. While the moon’s rays flickered through the clouds. A single-story home appeared nestled between the cacti on the barren road leading out of the ghost town of Nothing Arizona. It was so out of place with the dilapidated store front and run down sign. It was like a mirage that flickered within the wavering moonlight. What was even more out of place than the home itself. There were several people that seemed to appear out of nowhere in front of the home before going in. Nestled within its walls was power, pure unadulterated power. Emanating from the creatures that were inside. “Are we all here?” A woman with an unearthly beauty called out as she tucked a lone lock of her long white hair behind her ear. “No Selene, not all of us are here, you know how he can be.” The stately Chocolate complexion woman said. She was covered from head to toe in a long black dress and gold head covering her body adorned with golden jewelry relaying her status and wealth. “Urgh! Bastet why must he always be late.” Selene said. “Well, he does have appearances to keep up” the tall statuesque beauty with the fiery red hair said to her friends. One would not know it by looks alone but within the room sitting amongst the glowing embers of the fireplace sipping on wine were 5 goddesses known to all supernatural creatures. They were waiting for the lone male god within their ranks. As if on que the door opened and in walked in Thoth the Egyptian god of the moon, sacred text, magic, master of all knowledge and the avian shifters creator. “Hello sisters have you been waiting on me for very long.” “No Thoth we were just worried is all” a short haired very athletic tone goddess said. “Athena, you know never to worry about me.” he said as he walked up to her and kissed her softly on the lips. “Well since we are all here can we get on with it now” Hecate interrupted “We need status updates.” “Yes, Hecate we can” Thoth said. “I have news of the council. They have narrowed down the blessed wolf line to the king line. I am so sorry Selene; I could not keep them away from that knowledge.” “It is ok, I have put plans into place already to secure Deacon’s safety.” “So, the hellhound found him?” “Yes, he has and they have formed the connection.” “Good I was worried.” “No need brother this time we will win and destroy Chaos’ hold on our world. The pairings have been set and we have looked into the heart of those we have paired. Only love will end the misery that hate, and greed has brought all our children.” Selene interjected “Well then, it’s decided, I will bring forth my children from the realm of the fae and place my trust in you dear sister Selene to choose wisely for one of my flock.” With that each of the gods rose and disappeared from the small house on the out skirts of a ghost town as it shimmered then disappeared from sight. With neither human nor supernatural being aware of their presence.

It’s Beltane and the pack is abuzz with merriment. I seen some omegas helping coven members set up a large wooden stick wrapped in ribbons in the middle of a field. Warriors were piling tons of sticks and logs to form a large bonfire later while tables chairs were set up for food. The snickers and giggles of all the unmated females reached my ears steadily throughout the day but I ignored all the catcalls. The festivities will begin at dusk Cj told me, so I just had to focus on work for now until I get to hold my mate once again. After our little slipup last week, we have been more attentive with each other and at night fall asleep in each other’s arms on the couch in the living room. The sun was setting when Rainbow let the hood on her cloak drop before thanking the goddess Hecate for all the abundance that the pack has. She then blessed all the new mating’s and unions that had happened within the past year with blessings and hopes for many more. Then all the woman that was cloaked dropped them and holy s.hit they were all naked as the day they were born. Rainbow, Cj, Nola, Juliet, Juliet’s mom Gwen, hell even Mrs. Chen was bare assed. They gathered the ribbons that were attached to the pole. As well as the all the other females with them and started dancing around the big a.ss pole seductively. I felt Thomas tense besides me as he watched other males ogle his mate. It didn’t take long into the dance before Thomas rushed up and grabbed Juliet hauling her over his shoulder he caressed her ass, as he growled out mine before running toward the pack house.
