It was another hour before me, and Thomas made our way to Cj’s office true to her word waiting for us was my dad and brother. “Ah nice of you two to join us” Cj said. My brother just smirked, and dad already looked bored with everything. “Yeah, sorry about that Cj.” “No worries girl have a seat Nola will be here shortly.” My dad was lounging on the couch under the window while my brother was posted up to the right of Cj desk. I decided to sit in the chairs directly in front of Cj desk with Tommy. Not five minutes later in walks Nola and Bishop.

“So, I asked you here Juliet and your father to discuss some things” Cj started. “Romeo decided just to invite himself, but either way as you know Juliet. Nola has been complaining about the workload that has up until now just been split between her and me. She wanted me to assign a Gamma to the ranks.” “Why do you need a gamma you haven’t chosen an Alpha yet to mate with” Romeo interrupted. “Will you shut the f***k up” Nola said. Cj heavily sighed and rolled her eyes before going on. “I know you still have a year or two to complete your degree at school but since you found your mate and he is willing to leave his sleuth and rank behind for you I believe making the two of you the gamma couple would fit everyone nicely. Nola and I would be able to divide some of the workload between the four of us for now. With Beta Thomas taking the training and patrol rotation schedules. If that works for you two.”

I just looked at Thomas completely shocked by this turn of events. I never thought to have a rank other than warrior for the pack. To know that Cj trusted me and Thomas enough to give us this position was an honor.

“I would be honored to be your gamma male Alpha Cj” Thomas said with a big grin on his face looking at his friend Bishop. Cj just c****d her eyebrow at me. Waiting for my reply. “Well, you know me Cj I already follow you guys around like a puppy might as well make it official.” Everyone laughed except my brother. He just looked like he swallowed something disgusting. “Papa D with Juliet taking the Gamma position her, and her mate will be officially moving into the gamma wing of the packhouse.” Cj said. “I wanted you here to explain that Juliet wasn’t given the position to get her out of your house or because she is one of my best friends. I gave it to her cause its high time other species were in the higher ranks of the pack. Making Julie our gamma will further establish our relationship with each other.” My dad just laughs again. “Like there was any worry about that Small Fry. Umm I mean Alpha.” He grins at Cj. “I am just happy one of my cubs found their fated mate and is living the life the moon goddess and the goddess Artio chose for them.” He said pointedly looking at my brother. “Well, if we are all good Thomas, your things will be moved to the Gamma wing which is one floor above where you are currently staying. Julie, you can move what you need from your parents’ home to the suite as well. Any redecorating needed let me know and I will give you the pack credit card for the things you need.” Before I can say Ok “so just like that my sister gets a ranked position in the pack before I do. Really this is some b.ullshit.” Romeo says, “well you have a rank”. Cj said “warriors are no less important for the pack than a gamma is. But yes, now you will have to answer your sister and her mate instead of trying to bother me or Nola about your schedule and where you are assigned to patrol. Romeo just snickered before pushing himself from the wall and walking out the door. CJ gave my dad a glance. “I know small fry I’ll talk to the knuckle head again. The sound of someone clearing their throat draws our attention to Bishop “so if they’re the gamma couple what does that make me Christmas?”
