Chapter 16: Refreshed Morning

I woke up because of the bright light shining directly on my face. I instinctively raised my hand to shield my eyes from the sudden brightness. Shifting to the side of the bed, I adjusted the blanket, only to realize it was already underneath me, towards my feet, causing me to wake up fully. I slowly removed the blanket from my body and then shifted my body once again to look at the ceiling of the room. Looking around, I realized I was not in my own room but in a place where I was meant to carry out an assassination. As I suspected, I am still not in my kingdom, specifically in my room. This wasn't the first time I had slept deeply in this place, and it troubled me. I knew I couldn't continue being so careless, or it would lead to trouble.
