Kane didn't believe Nora could possibly break off their engagement. His father held a powerful position within the Alpha Council, and the elders had always followed his lead.
His voice remained calm, but his eyes were full of ridicule.
"If you lose, the Witt Pack will also have to hand over its entire territory. Do you really dare? The deputy commander can protect you tonight, but he can't make a wager involving the territories of the Gray Pack and the Witt Pack. Other than the Wolf King and his successor, no one would dare accept such a bet."
I folded my arms and replied without hesitation, "Deal."
