"Look, Nathalie! that guy there is totally checking you out."
"Who? Where?"
"Down in the corner! Turn around, just be discreet." Nakita ko na ang tinuturo niyang lalaki. Nagulat ako.

"What is it?"
"That guy was the witness in the case I'm working on."

Misty looks up and sees Keigan Chase behind me, coming towards after us.
"Itong lalaki bang ito ay ginugulo ka, Nathalie?" Tanong ni Keigan sa akin sabay turo kay Tobias.
"What? Hey, Chase!"
"Call me Keigan, please. Wala tayo sa station."
Misty, fascinated by his appearance, interrupted our conversation, and introduces herself.
"So how do you two know each other?"
"We work together." sabi ko.
"Nathalie, hiding such handsome workmates from me? You can't have them all for yourself, you know.."
"No need for plural there, Misty. Iisa lang naman ako." sagot ni Keigan.
"I bet there is." Misty.
"I wasn't hiding him, Misty, it's just never came up..."
"THIS never came up?"
"Misty, please..."
"Relax, I'm just messing with you!"
Keigan smiles at me and turns to Tobias. His expression is serious again.
"So, who would you be?"
"I'm Tobias. Pleased to meet you, Keigan."
"Inspector Chase for you."
"Nasa duty ka ba?"
"Lagi akong nasa duty, when I see someone suspicious. Tell me, where do I know you from?"
'Do I clear this up?'

"He was a witness in our case. The roommate." sabat ko.

Keigan is still talking to Tobias.
"So, what are you doing here, trying to influence the investigation?" Keigan.
"Of course not. I'm here to say hi to the girls, and chat with Nathalie a bit." Tobias.

"Nathalie, were you hanging out with this person?" Keigan asked me.
"No need to act like that, Keigan, pumunta lang siya dito para mag-hi."
"So, Toby, you were leaving?"

Keigan appears with an upset expression on his face.
"Di ko gustong ma-interrupt pag-uusap niyo, but I just got a call galing sa station. There's a violent incident going on in the club The Pirate Ship. Punta na ako doon ngayon."
"I'm coming with you." favor ko.
"I'll handle it. It's your day off."
"But...it's my case! I'm going!"

Misty appears too.
"Aalis kana?" tanong niya.
"Sorry Misty, but it's urgent."
"Well, see you..." sabi ni Tobias.
"Bye! Sorry about leaving."
Toby used the opportunity to ask Misty tungkol kay Nathalie.
"Bago ka umalis..." sabi ni Tobias kay Misty. "I'd like to ask you something about Nathalie."
"Ano?"
"Well, I guess, gusto kong malaman lahat, anong gusto niya at lahat..."
"Hmm, so nagkakilala kami sa school, when I was dating this guy..."

"...so that guy was such an idiot, I'm glad nasa malayo na siya ngayon...I'm so happy I never meet him anywhere..."

Habang sinasabi ni Misty ang istorya ng kanyang buhay, punta muna tayo kina Keigan at Nathalie.
