Laizong and Mallory are in the living room, and he's telling her his plan. When he tells her that he only rescued her because she's a part of his plan, that is to cause a distraction for Shemar. He and Kaimana grew up together, but he needs time with her alone.
Mallory is upset over hearing again that he isn't interested in her. And that she is just a pawn in his plan. She agreed to help him since she could get close to Shemar. Mallory had forgotten about Kaimana threatening her for a few minutes. When she remembered, she thought about backing out of Laizong's plan. "Kaimana is just one woman. What can she do to me here with all these men? He doesn't need to know about Kaimana and my encounter." She's thinking while listening to him tell her his plan.
