What I didn't realize was there was more difficulty waiting for me inside the hall. After entering the entry corridor, I spotted two army type individuals stationed on each side with pistols at hand as girls bustled about the hall
But soon as I got into the building, I felt as though the mumbling that was loud and clear had abruptly ceased. Everyone's eyes landed in my petite figure as I scowled, but I didn't respond much. I merely pursed my lips and gazed on the ground, while moving over to the food counter.
Just as I went up following a few women the females before me purposely elevated their voices and gossiped. But what they said startled me the most.
"Have you heard anything Betty?"
"What?"
