I was left in a bit of trouble because when I stepped out of the office, there were no guards at the door. What did I even expect? They were Mr. Chin’s personal guards, so of course they had gone with him. I made my way to the elevator, already tense about how I’d handle the crowd that was obviously waiting for me. I was sure they were just waiting for the moment I appeared so they could rush in all at once. A minute later, I was on the ground floor. I stepped out of the elevator and looked around cautiously as I walked, ready for any ambush from fans. But strangely, everyone was busy with their work. It was so unusual that I even pinched myself just to make sure I wasn’t invisible, because no one even dared to look at me. It was the perfect chance to escape, but the silence felt… off. I kept looking around until I spotted Mr. Chin talking to the receptionist. Now I understood. I walked out of the building, relieved that there were no pictures or autographs this time. It’s not that I’m being mean I’ve just been a bit tired lately, and I don’t like causing disruptions for the workers in the company. I drove off to my house. My own house. I thought about stopping by the mall to pick up some groceries, but I didn’t want to cause any attention there either. So I kept driving slowly, letting hip-hop music fill the silence, it always manages to get to me.I was still on the road when it started raining. It’s not like I love or hate rain, but… why today? That meant I had to drive a bit faster. I don’t like driving in the rain, and I hate being cold or getting soaked. I had come prepared to do some cleaning, but the moment I stepped inside the house, I froze. Mr. Chin had told me everything was already taken care of, but I didn’t expect this.Everything was perfectly arranged, and the entire place looked… heavenly.White.That was the theme , white everywhere. White sofas, a white dining table and chairs, white tiles, even the walls were painted white. Framed pictures of me hung neatly on the walls. There was a large HD 75-inch television, elegant white chandeliers, a staircase bookshelf, and a piano placed right beside it. A bean bag chair, flower vases, and so many other details I couldn’t even list. Everything looked soft, clean, and almost unreal. I had never imagined white could look this beautiful. I walked slowly through the house, taking everything in from the kitchen to the dining area, then to the living room, and finally stopping at the piano near the stairs. There was a small note on it. “Thank me later.” I recognized the handwriting immediately—it was Mr. Chin’s. I smiled. “I’ll definitely thank you… but this time, you’ll be rewarding me for what I’m about to do.” I ran my fingers lightly over the piano, then noticed a white guitar and a saxophone nearby. This was everything I had ever wanted in a home. I couldn’t have been happier. I headed upstairs to the master bedroom. It was huge. A king-size white bed with soft sheets and blankets dominated the space. The room was filled with enough furniture and décor to make sure I wouldn’t feel alone. On one side stood a massive wardrobe. I even wondered what I would fill it with but the moment I opened it, I froze again. It was already filled with new clothes. Management really knew our tastes, and our sizes. Most of the outfits were simple, clean designs, exactly the way I liked them. Next to it was a shoe closet filled with almost every type of shoe imaginable. That part alone had me completely obsessed. I couldn’t wait to start living here, not because I hated the dorm, but because… I needed this. Everything was perfect. All that remained was a long, relaxing bath. I walked to the window and pulled the curtains aside. It was still raining. From inside, you couldn’t even feel the cold. Maybe I’d take a nap after the bath. I changed into a towel and headed into the bathroom. Everything I needed was already there shower gel, soap, and even a Jacuzzi J-470. After finishing my bath, I dressed in an oversized white T-shirt and black knee-length shorts. I had barely gotten into bed when I heard the gatebell ring.I froze. I didn’t have a gate manager yet… and no one was supposed to know I was here. A bit of fear crept in. I checked the CCTV. It looked like someone I knew… standing outside in the rain. I rushed downstairs, grabbed a steak hammer from the kitchen, and hid it behind my back before slowly opening the main door and heading toward the gate. I tried to look confident but inside, I was shaking. I even whispered a small prayer before opening it. I was so nervous that I didn’t even realize I was getting soaked by the rain too. Then I saw him. Standing there. No mask. His eyes… just as beautiful as ever. His hair was drenched, water dripping down his face. I stared at him in disbelief. I didn’t think he would actually come. And now… I was seeing his face clearly. A face I wasn’t sure I’d ever be able to forget. His wet hair made him look even softer. I glanced around there was no sign of a car. I quickly pulled him inside and locked the gate. “Did you walk here?” I asked, worried. I reached out, brushing his wet hair away from his eyes. Before I could react, he pulled me into a hug. I froze for a second I hadn’t expected that. But then… I hugged him back. It felt right. A hug like that… it meant something. I felt it too. It was warm, grounding… like something I had been craving without realizing it. My chest tightened, and I almost felt like crying. He slowly pulled away, lowering his gaze. I lifted my hand to his face, and he looked at me. This time, I focused on his eyes. They were filled with tears , even in the rain, I could see it. Why? What had happened to him? Why was he crying? Without thinking, I pulled him into another hug. I didn’t know what else to do. I kissed his forehead gently, then held him as tightly as I could, just like I would want someone to hold me if I were the one breaking down. I could hear his quiet sobs. Something had definitely happened. Something bad. Would he tell me? I stayed like that, letting him cry until he calmed down. “Should we go inside?” I asked softly. “You might get sick out here… and I don’t want that.” He nodded.
