Chapter 11 My new home is a coffee shop called Bean There Done That, on a street called Church, but I don’t see any steeples, only cars circling for a parking space. Channeling the name of the road, I pray that Katie reconsiders her decision and returns to reclaim me. Divorce must impair judgment. The worker who placed me on the shelf has already finished her shift and left. Life is so transient in a coffee shop. I scan the space, taking in the parameters of my prison.
