“Renee explained why you left the room the other day, and I understand, I know it must be a lot on you. I do appreciate you trying to get to know Jonah. Again, Janice, I know it was hard for you. I was released yesterday, it would be great to see you, Al and Renee are watching Jonah for me for a couple of days so let me know your thoughts. I hate that we started back to communicate under these circumstances, but, if possible, I would love to pick up where we left off,” Jared said on the other end of the phone, waiting nervously for the response.
