The next day, Terrence and Sheldon were busy unpacking their stuff as the shipment of all their things arrived early. It arrived earlier than they expected. "Sheldon, use that room next to your room as your playroom. Please guide the cargo people to put all those boxes with "toys" written on them in that room." Terrence told his son. "Yes, Daddy!" And the kid instructed the cargo people to bring the boxes inside the room that Terrence said. "Omg! What a mess?" Terrence looked at the boxes in the living room. "I will message Dexter to help me." And he sends a message to his friend. Fifteen minutes later, Dexter arrived. "I thought your cargo would arrive in a week? How come it arrived today?" "I don't know! But I think it's much better as I haven't started working yet. It's more tiring if I already started working then it will arrive." He responds and carries the box with his clothes inside. Dexter also carries some and puts them in Sheldon's room. "Where's that little rascal?" "I'm here Uncle Dexter and please don't call me a rascal or else you will see that I am a rascal." The young Sheldon smirked. Dexter just shook his head. Sometimes he will ask himself what type of person Sheldon's father is and why he is so mean. Sometimes savagely answered him like they're the same age as he didn't see this kind of behavior from Terrence. "Sheldon, are those people done taking all your boxes to your room?" "Yes, Daddy! I'm starting to unpack my toys now." "Okay! Do you think you can manage to unpack them and put them in their place?" Terrence tried to peek at his son in his room. "I can manage Dad but the higher shelf I can't reach." Sheldon pouted as he looked up to the shelves. "Do you need my help kiddo?" Dexter butting into the father and son conversation. "Sure, Uncle Dexter. Thank you!" Dexter turned to Terrence and did a thumbs up. They know Sheldon is being nice to Dexter as he needs him. That's how Sheldon treated him sometimes. The afternoon came and they're done unpacking. Sheldon collapsed on the sofa. He is so tired of helping his Dad and his Uncle Dexter. "Stay here for dinner, I'm gonna cook," Terrence told Dexter. "I think we'll just order. You're tired for the whole day unpacking." "Okay fine!" Terrence then grabbed his phone and ordered their dinner. Monday. Terrence woke up early and prepared all his stuff for work and Sheldon as well as it is his first day in school too. He luckily found a school that meets his standard financially and it's on his way to his workplace as well so he found it convenient for him. He is now at the main entrance of Madrigal Corporation. He was standing there as he was amazed by the structure of the building. He had seen so many beautiful buildings in the United States but the building he is going to work with is a lot different. He also felt an indescribable vibe that made him bring his hand to his chest. "Whatever!" He thought and walked quickly inside and didn't notice the glossy floor that made him slip his shoes. He gasps and doesn't manage to control his body. He closed his eyes waiting for him to fall but instead, he felt a strong arm wrapped around his waist that made him stop from falling. He opened his eyes abruptly to see who was responsible for saving him. His eyes widened as he saw his savior's face inches away from him but he wasn't able to move his stares away as his handsome features left him in agape unconsciously. "Do you like the view?" Terrence's eyes fluttered as he heard the man's voice, his deep but authoritative voice. He quickly removes himself from the man's grip, fixes his clothes, and excuses himself. Out of embarrassment, he forgot to even say '"thank you" to the man which made him smirked looking at Terrence rushing away to the reception. Terrence is about to approach the receptionist but he is halted as he hears people from behind. "Good morning Mr. Madrigal!" Out of curiosity, Terrence turned his back slowly to check if what he heard was right. There he found the man standing with his cold aura with a man beside him who he thinks he's his assistant and uniformed personnel formed two lines and bowed their heads like knights waiting for their king. "Oh, my....is he the CEO?" Terrence's eyes widened and covered his mouth as he saw the man, the man they called Mr. Madrigal is the same person who saved him from falling just now. He quickly runs to the receptionist and asked for the Marketing Director's office floor but the receptionist doesn't let him go as he has no appointment until he introduces himself as the new Marketing Director. "Let him in!" A man from behind said to the receptionist but Terrence didn't turn to see as he's afraid that "Mr. Madrigal" will be there again. "You can go now, Mr. Saavedra." The receptionist then told Terrence. Terrence turned his back to the man and saw the man he thought as an assistant to that "Mr. Madrigal" a while ago. Without a second thought, Terrence rushed to the closing lift and didn't even check who was inside. "Hmmn.." Terrence heard from behind him. He turned and there he saw "Mr. Madrigal" again. He held his chest in surprise. "What a day for me to start? I think I'm in trouble." He turned his face towards the lift door as it was about to reach his office floor. When the lift opens, he quickly gets out and runs to the office of the marketing director. Terrence reached the Marketing Directors' office panting, he took a deep breath and knocked on the door without noticing the ladies on that level are looking at him with their mouths open. Terrence heard from inside that he was allowed to enter, then he slowly opened the door and walked inside. "Omg! He is so damn cute!" The lady two tables away from the Marketing Directors' office, exclaimed as she shuddered for Terrence's appearance. The rest of the ladies agreed that made the men roll their eyes. Inside the Marketing Director's office, Terrence meets the current person in that position, Madam Helen Yu. Madam Yu turned over all her work to Terrence. "If anything you need to discuss with the CEO, you have to tell his assistant James Cruz first. James has worked for him since he started becoming a CEO so he is the most trusted person by our boss. Mr. Madrigal has no secretary but there is James who is not just his PA but secretary, errand boy, bodyguard, whatever you will call him as he can do whatever our boss will ask him to do." "Does he check every department too?" Terrence asked while checking the files that Madam Helen Yu passed to him. "If you're asking for the CEO, no. And no one can easily go up to his office without informing him first." "Whoah!" "And you have to do your job properly as he is quite a perfectionist. Once you pass him any report he wants it to be perfect as he hates to keep asking people to repeat their job." "Aaahh.." Terrence nodded with mouth pouted. In the CEO's office. “James, have you found any clue about the task I gave you?" The young CEO asked his assistant com secretary while his eyes focused on the pile of papers on his table, those are papers for him to sign. "I'm sorry Mr. Madrigal but, I still can't find any clue." James bowing his head. "Hmmnn..." "Uhm... Mr. Madrigal, do you think it's still reasonable to look for that person? It's already six years past?" "James, who told you that you have the right to question me?" He lifts his head and throws a death glare to his assistant. "I'm so sorry Mr. Madrigal. I am just thinking that if that person is still here we already found him." The young CEO just gestured for him to go out. James bowed his head before leaving though the young CEO didn't look at him. After James left, he pulled his table drawer out and took a small plastic bag with the things he found on the bed, six years ago. "What does he think of me, a male prøstitvte?" The corner of his lips curled and formed into a smile then put back the plastic bag inside the drawer. He then stood up and walked towards the glass wall overlooking the city. Suddenly, the face of the new marketing director appeared in his mind. He smiled. At the Marketing Director's office. Terrence made a call to Sheldon. "Sheldon ah, you wait for Daddy to pick you up okay? I will text you if I am done here." "Sure, Dad! Just let me know." "Okay bye. I need to go back to work now." Terrence then cut the line. "Your son?" Madam Yu asked after Terrence spoke to Sheldon on the phone. "Yes, Madam Yu." "But they said, you're single?" Terrence just smiles at Madam Yu and she also understands that Terrence doesn't want to talk about his personal life. Days passed and Madam Yu did her job training Terrence. She's happy to leave her position as Terrence is a fast learner, proving that he is a graduate of one of the prestigious universities in the US. For Terrence, it wasn't really difficult. He worked for almost five years in his previous company in the US and he is quite familiar with some tasks he needs to do. His daily routine is quite simple too. He will send Sheldon to his school on the way to his work then pick him up on the way home. At the moment he is reporting about the day-to-day activities of the marketing team and marketing managers. It is to be passed to the CEO to check and sign if he finds no problem with the report. "Allen, can you come in please." He called the assigned secretary for him through the intercom. "Yes Sir, is there anything you need?" Allen then asked when he was in front of Terrence. Terrence smiled at his secretary. "Can you please send it to the office of the CEO?" "Yes Sir. No problem." "Thank you!" At the CEO's office. Allen hand in the documents to James Cruz, the CEO's secretary "Mr. Reyes, you can go back now. If there is any problem with the report I can go down to the marketing department. You don't have to wait." Before Allen could reply they heard the voice of the CEO. "What is it, James?" Allen then left afraid that he might be seen by the CEO. Since he worked at the Madrigal Company, he didn't see the CEO in person. He heard the rumors that he has a cold personality and is quite scary because he will fire anyone that made even a single mistake. "Mr. Madrigal, the new Marketing Director sent his secretary to submit this." James then handed him the papers after Allen left. .He scanned it and said, "Go and send this back, the report is not complete." "Right away, Mr. Madrigal." His assistant then left and he continued to sign some papers on the table. At the Marketing Department. The lift opens and James is rushing to the director's office. He was met by Allen. "Why, Mr. Cruz?" "The CEO said the report is not complete." "Okay, I will give it back to Mr. Saavedra." Allen then called Terrence to inform him that the CEO sent back the report. "Send it here and let me have a look." Allen then gave him the papers and he reviewed them. He scans the papers not once but twice but he doesn't find any mistakes in them. “Allen, send it back to the CEO's office and tell them that there's nothing wrong with it." "Yes, Sir!" Terrence then continues his work. Again the CEO sent back the papers, Terrence getting annoyed as the CEO didn't even emphasize where the mistake was in his work. He again revised it and he is sure there's nothing wrong with his report. "Allen, send it again please." And again James came down to send back the papers. Allen and James find it weird already for their young CEO. The moment Terrence got the papers for the third time he got up and with the papers in his hands, he got inside the lift up to the CEO's office.
