‘How can I have all these memories? It’s like I’ve lived before without living.’ She considered the concept of reincarnation and shook her head. Somehow, that theory didn’t resonate right with her. The doctor interrupted her thoughts by opening the tank and helping her out again. Her muscles responded to movement better than the last time. Liquid nutrients carried by the doctor arrived on a tray. They didn’t look appetising, but whatever They were they tasted good and gave her energy. Eleanor never refused them when offered. Every time the doctor left her alone, she either worked out, focused on her memories, or gazed at the monitor showing her vitals, trying to read them. After a workout session with the doctor, she strode below the monitor and leant her hands on the cold surface. T
